America stabbed her plastic fork into her pancakes as she watched Strange, Tony, and Bruce shuffle around the lab.

"You know when you said you were getting me pancakes I didn't think I would have to eat them here" America complained as she took a large bite, "It's just criminal" She said, though it sounded more muffled when she spoke due to the food in her mouth.

"Just be happy I got you syrup," Strange commented as he walked past her. America rolled her eyes but continued to eat in silence for a moment.

America pushed her plate in front of her when she was done and wiped her mouth with her sleeve as she stood up and moved around, "What's this?" She asked, picking up a random glowing object off of one of the work tables.

Strange plucked the object out of her hand and placed it back down, "Something you shouldn't be touching."

"OK, ok, jeez. I'm trying to look interested here, " She said defensively.

"Then ask questions, just don't touch"

"I'm a visual learner, but now I'm disinterested." She started to walk away, "Talk to you when you need me."

—-----

America spun around in the chair before something caught her eye. She quickly halted to a stop and tried to settle her vision as she focused her eyes.

To the side or the lab gold sparks seemed to be appearing, from the looks of it no one was around to be causing them, the others were huddled around a bunch of notes so they couldn't be the cause.

Slowly, America moved closer to the sparks and reached out her hand. A few fell on her hand and sent small shocks through her body.

She quickly recoiled her hand and took a step back. The sparks seemed to increase in numbers, and America looked over at the trio, "Uh guys? Something glowing over here?" She called out.

When she turned back to the sparks, it was practically a glowing orb, and by the time the trio made their way over, it was like a beam.

"What did you touch? I said no spells!" Strange shouted, pulling her away from the beam.

America shrugged him off, "I didn't do anything! It was just there, and it's not even that bad. Look. " She took a few steps forward and waved a hand through the glow, "See, not bad. "

Once again, Strange pulled her back, "Stop touching it!"

"It's fine." Those words practically sealed America's fate because only seconds later, her shoulders slumped, and her eyes became glassy. She turned and faced the portal before moving her hands.

The gold sparks mixed with blue sparks, and America waved her hands again, and a large star shaped portal was summoned.

*back with Alex*

She was waiting for Castiel to give her the ok to do anything, jump through the beam, give more blood, anything really.

She watched as Dean gave her a concerned look before speaking, "Uh Cas? Is the blood a side effect? I'm not sure you have much more blood to lose. " he aimed the last part at Alex.

Castiel looked at her before shaking his head, "This is not an effect of my magic. This is her." He pointed at her face.

Blood seeped through Alex's lips before she licked the blood off of them, "Normally this means I'm moving worlds again, so I hope this means I'm going home and not somewhere else."

Castiel looked her over before shaking his head, "I'm afraid not, this is all you,"

Alex's eyes widened before she narrowed her eyes and pointed a finger at Castiel, "You better find a way to get me back home, I'm so close I'm not about to fade away again. You have to be able to speed this up somehow, " She said urgently.
