Normal pov:

I acccidentally fell asleep at Benny's yesterday night when we were watching a movie.

I know he didn't mind but I kinda wished I had stayed awake. I didn't get to finish Meet the Robinson's!

I wake up in his bed to see him sitting up already.

He notices me, now awake. "Morning."

"What time is it?" I ask him, with my eyes suddenly wide.

"7:00."

"Ewwww..." I groan and purposely roll off the bed.

I hear him laugh and get up off the floor.

"So," he starts, "is this your first time seeing 7:00?" he asks teasingly.

"I did it as a baby all the time." I respond heading towards his bedroom door.

"Wait!" he shouts and I turn back. "You can do it. If you want, of course." he says, not looking at me.

"Do what?"

"Hop over the fence and get the ball."

Is he fucking with me?

"Really?" I ask with a confused face.

"Yeah. But you don't have to. I'm not telling you to do it. I'm just saying if you want to. I won't try and stop you." he rushes out.

I look at him like he's speaking in a different language.

This is coming from the guy who wouldn't let me look over the fence from a two story window for more than 5 seconds?

"Okay." I say and continue my walk to his door.

"Are you gonna do it?" he asks me, sort of frantic.

"Hell yeah!" I yell back and walk out of his room.

I go into the bathroom to "freshen up".

I open the cabinet to find my spare toothbrush and tooth paste I keep over here for such occasions.

My hair had stayed surprizingly well so I take it out and shake it a little so it's not too stiff. It was in a braid so now there's waves in my hair. A little frizzy, but what can you do?

After I'm done in the bathroom, I walk into the kitchen to find Jen drinking coffee.

"Hey, honey. I didn't know you stayed over last night." she says after she notices my presence.

"Niether did I. I fell asleep on accident."

"Oh. Do you wanna have some breakfest? I can make you something." she offers and I decline.

"No, thanks. I better head out, anyway. I got stuff to do."

I start walking over to the door as Benny comes into the kitchen.

"What's happening today?"

I grab the door handle and open the door.

"I'm hoping a fence." I say and close the door.

I got dressed in something I knew I'd be able to move around in and headed to the Sandlot.

I guess Benny went and got everybody ready because all 9 of them beat me there.

"You can't do this, Lil." Bertram tells me.

"You'll get killed!" Squints says.

There are other comments like those but I ignore all of them and head this rusty old car that rests next to the fense.
