Apollo's pov

I arrived in the waiting room where a young girl in a magician outfit was waiting. She spotted me and waved.

"Hey you must be Apollo" she took my hand excitedly "I'm trucy. I'm so excited to have you join the team"

"I haven't agreed to join your team" I raised an eyebrow.

"Good one Polly" she winked at me "now come on. We have some things to discuss"

She dragged me inside where Mr wright was laying in the hospital bed, his leg in a cast. Next to him was a man with gray hair and glasses, holding a six year old boy in his arms.

"You must be Mr justice" he stood up and shook my hand "I'm miles wright. I believe my husband wanted to discuss something with you"

"That's right" he sat up with a smile "Apollo it's good to see you again"

"The feelings not mutual" I folded my arms.

"Don't be mean to my daddy" the little boy scolded me.

"Ryunosuke we don't yell at people" miles scolded him.

"But-"

"No buts" he said sternly.

"Yes mama" he mumbled into his chest.

Mr wright smiled nervously at me "I actually called because I have three separate jobs for you"

"Let's hear it" I sighed.

"We'd like you to investigate what feind hit my husband and persecute them" miles took his husband's hand protectively.

"Mr Eldoon lost his noodle stand. He hired us to find the culprit" trucy said brightly.

"And the third job?" I asked.

"Well it's a little embarrassing" trucy gripped her skirt with a blush "but my panties were stolen last night"

"I see" I felt my own face turn red. What kind of creep steals a girl's undergarments!

"So what do you say kid? Are you up to the task" pheonixs eyes gleamed mysteriously. There's definitely something he's not telling me.

"It depends" I folded my arms "am I getting paid"

"You wouldn't just do this as a favour between pals" he chuckled nervously.

"No" I said curtly.

"Ohhh Polly means business" trucy giggled.

"A bodily harm case would cost about two hundred. Two theft cases would be three hundred. All of that would round up to five hundred but since you seem short on money I'll just ask for half"

"Would you consider halfing it again" he asked, his eyes bulging from the price.

"That's my offer Mr wright, take it or leave it" I folded my arms firmly.

"I like this one wright. You best keep him around" miles patted his shoulder "don't worry young man. We'll make sure you get paid"

"Thank you" I nodded "I should get started then"

"I'll come with you" trucy bounced up to me "two sets of hands are better than one!"

"If you say so" I smiled nervously. I didn't know how good an idea it was to take a civilian along but I could tell she wasn't going to take no for an answer.

"Alright let's get into this!"
