"Okay everyone places" trucy ordered us into hiding.

"I don't know why we're going through so much trouble" miles muttered as he hid beside me.

"Because we want Apollo to feel welcome plus the kids given us the best business we've seen in a while" I kissed his nose, causing him to crack a smile.

"Surprise!" Ryunosuke threw his arms up excitedly.

"Not yet ryu" I pulled him onto my lap "we wait until Apollo comes through that-" I was cut off by the sound of the door opening.

"Surprise!" Apollo jumped as we jumped out, throwing confetti in his face.

"Congrats on your win kid" I gave him a proud smile "Welcome to the wright family!"

"You guys did this for me?" He blinked in disbelief. We nodded "that's so nice" he wiped some stray tears.

"Come on Polly let's have some fun" trucy dragged him over to the snack table. The five of us laughed and clicked glasses, celebrating the wright anything agency's first win. It was the happiest I've been in the while. It was then that there was a knock on the door.

"I'll get it" Apollo opened the door to see none other than klavier gavin.

"Gavin" I growled as my eyes landed on the boy who took my badge away.

"Control yourself nick" miles said firmly.

"What the hell is that brat doing here" I glared at him.

"I don't believe he's here for us" he gestured to the rose's in his hands. I gasped. He didn't!

"Prosecuter Gavin hi. I would invite you inside but we're having a party and I feel like that would be a little mean considering the butt whooping I just gave you" he leaned against the doorway with a smug grin.

"Ja, it's the first time I lost in a while. That's why I thought I'd congratulate you" he handed him the rose's "I picked them just for you mein lieber. Red just like your suit"

"They're beautiful" he whispered, a small blush spread across his face "they must have cost a fortune"

"Ja it was nothing. I saw them in a shop and they reminded me of you" he winked at him.

"Now I feel like a jerk for being so mean to you" he looked away guiltily.

"Nonsense. You know I love your quick wit my little spitfire" he smiled dreamily. Apollo giggled softly. Great, he looks like a lovestruck puppy!

"Gavin how nice of you to stop by" I took Apollo by the shoulders with a protective stare.

"Ah herr wright" he stiffened up nervously.

"It was nice seeing you Gavin but I think you should leave" I said through gritted teeth.

"Why don't we invite him inside" Apollo suggested.

"Yeah that would be fun" trucy grinned.

"I don't think that's a good idea" I said firmly "You shouldn't hang around him Apollo. He might just end up taking your badge" he strunk down at my word.

I slammed the door in his face. Miles gave me a disappointed scowl while the others looked confused. Whatever. I did the right thing.
