Klaviars pov
I gently grasped his hand as we waited in the hospital waiting room. The two of us were waiting for our first ultrasound. Finally we can know our baby's gender. It's pretty exciting.
A soft whine escaped from Apollo. I wrapped my arm around him, pulling him close "what troubles you mein lieber" I muttered softly.
"It just feels so real now" he rubbed his arm nervously "I can't help but think about my career. Defending people is all I've ever wanted to do but can I really be a defense attorney if I have a kid to look after"
"We can think about all that later Schatz" I rubbed his shoulders reassuringly "for now let's just focus on the now ja?"
"You're right, sorry. I get caught up in my own head sometimes" he gave me an embarrassed smile.
"Then it's a good thing I'm here to get you out of it" I kissed the top of his head.
"Mr justice?" A nurse came out with a bright smile "the doctor will see you now"
"Right. I'm fine. Apollo justice is fine" he muttered to himself as he headed into the doctors office with me trailing behind.
"Hello you must be Mr justice" he gave me a kind smile "a first time parent I'm guessing"
"Yes sir" he nodded.
"Well there's no need to be nervous. Just lay there and get started. Are you the father?" He turned to me.
"Ja" I nodded.
"Alrighty let's take a look" he started to scan Apollo's stomach. I watched in wonder as I saw my child on the monitor.
"Congratulations" the doctor smiled at us "It's a-"
