"I can't believe you" miles was staring daggers at me as I hung my head in guilt "now I understand you were in shock over Apollo's news but what you did was assault"
"I know" I ran my hand through my hair anxiously "I feel terrible about scaring Apollo and trucy like that"
"You should feel awful about assaulting Gavin" miles shot him a glare. I shrunk down, he rarely gets this mad "that's it. We're sorting this out now" he practically dragged me out, taking me to Gavin's.
Apollo answered the door. He saw me, scowled and was about to shut the door when miles stopped him.
"Apollo I understand you're upset but I've dragged my foolish husband here to apologise" he grabbed my head and forced me into a bowing position "are you alright son? The stress didn't cause any complications?"
"I'm fine and I don't want an apology. What I want is for you to apologise to klavier"
"Alright I can do that kiddo" I gave him a reassuring smile "can I come inside"
"I guess so" he reluctantly moved away. I nodded greatfully before going in with miles close behind.
Klavier looked up at us, his face bruised but still smiling "ah herr wright and herr boss too. What brings you to my humble abode. Hopefully not for another beatdown"
"Klavier wonderful to see you again" miles nodded "my husband would like to formally apologise for his actions" he pushed me forward.
I took a deep breath "I'm sorry kid. I didn't trust you with Apollo and I let my fears get the best of me. I understand if you want nothing to do with me"
"Nonsense herr wright. Your love for your family is something I truly admire about you. I would have given anything to have a brother that cared as much" he smiled sadly.
I clapped his shoulder "can I get you a drink?"
He looked up in surprise "that would be nice herr wright" I wrapped my arm around him
And led him to the kitchen. I guess Gavin's not so bad after all...
