Apollos pov
I came home, feeling winded and exhausted after a day's work. Defending clients and raising objections is a lot harder when you're heavily pregnant but Apollo justice makes it work!
"Schatz are you alright!" Klavier ran up to me, fretting as usual.
"Yes klavier my trial did go well thank you for asking" I said sarcastically as I headed to the sofa. Klavier followed behind me.
"Schatz I think it's time to talk about taking some time off"
"Noooo!" I whined as I flopped backwards on the couch.
He sighed as he took a seat beside me "your due date is just around the corner mein lieber. It would be in everyone's best interests if you took a maternity leave"
"I know that's what I should be doing" I sat up, hugging myself vulnerablely "but I'm scared. I feel like if I stop now I may never be able to start again"
"Apollo" he gently pulled me into his chest "Schatz you shouldn't stressed so much. You are a talented defence attorney. One of the best attorneys I've ever gone up against. And it's not just me who sees your worth, herr wright and the little fraulein does too. A maternity leave won't change that"
"Once again you know just what to say" I smiled against his chest.
"It's a gift" he winked at me, causing me to roll my eyes.
"Though I have no idea what to do with all this spare time I have" I sighed.
"I can think of a few things" he pulled me into a kiss with a low growl. I giggled into the kiss. Maybe this won't be so bad.
