Trucys pov
I paced back and forth anxiously. Polly's never snapped at me like that. Whatever happened must have been awful. What if he's sick? I can't lose him too!
I jumped at the sound of the door being unlocked. Apollo stepped out, his eyes bloodshot.
"Polly" I stepped forward. He patted my head with a tired smile.
"I'm sorry I yelled at you trucy" he bent down and picked up Ryu "let's go home"
"Polly wait!" I followed after him. I wanted to ask him what happened in there and cheer him up anyway I can but he obviously doesn't want to talk about it. I have to respect it.
We reached home and once we opened the door-
"Daddy!" Ryu jumped out of his arms and hugged daddy who just arrived home. I ran up and hugged his other side.
"Ah my babies" he covered us in kisses.
"Daddy your beard is tickling me" I giggled.
"Sorry baby girl, I need a shave" he chuckled before turning to Apollo "kid have I got a case for you"
"I'm in" he nodded.
"Eh?" Dad raised his eyebrows.
He walked over and snatched the folder out of daddy's hand. He scanned it over before nodding "I'll get to it" with that he walked away.
"Is he ok?" He asked me "he didn't even complain about me leaving you guys for so long"
"I'm not sure" I looked over worriedly "I'm going to go with him. I think he could use someone right now" with that I followed him outside...
