Klaviars pov
I wrapped my arm around him, leading him home with a sense of protectiveness. This boy's carrying my baby. I'm going to be a father. It's almost too much to handle but this isn't about me.
"How are you feeling now Schatz" I asked him gently.
"A little better thanks" his voice was small and timid. My eyebrows furrowed, this is so unlike my spitfire "thanks for walking me home"
"Of course Schatz, like I'd let you walk alone in such a vulnerable state" I kissed the top of his head.
"I'm so relieved you know. I was afraid of you abandoning me" he wiped his tears away.
"Oh Schatz you must be so stressed" I rubbed his shoulders.
He nodded, looking teary eyed "you wouldn't mind staying with me tonight would you"
"Of course" I kissed his neck lovingly.
"Thanks" a smile returned to his face "come on. There's a shortcut through the park" he grabbed my hand and took off running.
"Schatz you shouldn't be running in your condition!"
*Time skip*
"Welcome to my humble abode" Apollo invited me inside "it's not as nice as yours but it's good enough for me"
"Hmm I think it's a charming little place" I wrapped an arm around his waist. As soon as I did.
"Hiss"
"Yah" I jumped and looked down to see an angry looking Calico.
"Mikeko!" He scooped the kitty up with a cute smile "sorry klav. He's been kinda protective this past month. I think he can sense that I'm pregnant"
"I see" I bent down to his level "hello Katze I'm klavier. I want to protect herr justice too. Can we be friends?" I reached my hand out only for the cat to swipe at me with a hiss "I guess not"
Apollo giggled as he took a seat. Mikeko curled up on his lap with a cute yawn. If he didn't recently attack me I would have found it cute.
He petted the Calico, his eyes clouded with emotion "What happens now klav? I haven't had a chance to think about it"
I walked over and rubbed his shoulders "you shouldn't have to live alone during this schatz. You should move in with me where I can support you and the baby" I reached out to touch his stomach only for mikeko to bite my hand "Du blöde Kuh" I cursed.
"You really want me to move in with you?" his eyes lit up.
I nodded "I'll even get a bed for your kitty" mikeko shot me a glare. How can an animal show so much disdain for someone!
"Thanks klavier" he touched my face "this whole situation's been crazy but having you here with me has made it alot easier"
"Of course mein lieber" I leaned forward and gently kissed him. All my pain, fear and loss fading away in that kiss. Starting a family with him may not be too bad.
