"Polly we have to get you checked out" trucy dragged me into the hospital waiting room with Ryu trailing behind "you've been sick for way too long!"
"It's only been a week trucy" I rolled my eyes at how motherly she was being "it's fine. I just have a stomach bug"
"Or it could be something worse" she pressed on "please Polly, do it for us" they gave me their best puppy dog eyes.
I sighed in defeat "fine. You two wait out here"
"Ok good luck Polly" they waved as I stepped inside.
I tapped my fingers nervously as I waited for my name to be called. God I hate hospitals. I have so many bad memories of sitting in a waiting room, wondering if my dad would live or die. That was a long time ago. I'm not held down by family anymore.
"Apollo justice" my head shot up at my name was called out. I stood up and followed the doctor to their office.
"Hmm" the doctor looked through the test results "the results came back clear"
"Then what's wrong with me" I gripped my knees nervously.
He paused for a moment "young man have you had sex recently?"
"Eep!" I yelped as my face turned red.
He gave me a kind smile "I understand it's embarrassing but please answer"
"Yeah I did" my eyes were glued to the floor. This is humiliating.
He nodded as he handed me a pregnancy test "take a test son. Come back to us if it comes back negative"
"Thanks" I stood up shakily. Pregnant? I didn't even consider that. No no this can't be happening.
I stepped outside, being approached by Ryu and trucy.
"Sorry I need to use the bathroom" I muttered as I made a beeline for the bathroom.
I shut the door behind me, holding the pregnancy test to my chest. My heart was beating like a drum. I was terrified but I had no choice.
