The girls spent the rest of the day walking around town, shopping for flower seeds to plant around their houses or buying cute things they saw in the market.
"Aoi! Hi!" The girls turned around and saw a blond boy running up to them, waving his hand in the air.
Just as he was about to reach them, he tripped on a rock and fell onto his stomach.
Nene gasped. "Oh my gosh! Are you okay?" She kneeled down towards him.
"Kou.." Aoi muttered. "This is the third time this week,"
He sat up into a sitting position, thanking Nene awkwardly.
"I'm Nene, what's your name?"
"I'm Kou," he smiled, standing up and dusting himself off. "It's nice to finally meet you! Aoi talks about you all the time,"
Nene flushed. "O-oh, does she?"
"Here," Aoi grabbed her hand and pulled her up. "This is the boy we're going to the haunted maze with!"
"Yup! Later today I can introduce you to the other people who are coming, if you'd like?" Kou grinned.
"That would be wonderful! Thank you!"
"Anyways Kou, what we're you doing in the market today?" Aoi said as she began skipping along the path.
"I was looking for you, actually. I don't know what to be for Halloween.." He said sheepishly.
Suddenly, Aoi stopped. "I have the PERFECT costume for you! Let's go back to my house,"

On the way to Aoi's house, they ran into a pink haired boy who seemed to know Kou.
"Kou, what're you being for Halloween again?" he asked, ignoring the others.
"Oh, uh-"
"He's being a Ghost Buster, and you will be too!" Aoi cut in, grabbing the boys arm and dragging him to her house too.
"W-wahh! Stop it!" He cried, trying to tug his arm away.

"Hmph, why do you even have two Ghost Buster costumes anyway, Aoi-chan?" he huffed.
"I have the whole set, but there's only two of you so you will only need these two!" She grinned and shoved Kou into the bathroom, the costume clutched to his chest. "You should just be thankful I got a costume for you at all!"
"Whatever." He turned his head to the side and locked eyes with Nene. "Uh, also, who's this?"
Nene flushed and looked down, fumbling with the lace on her dress.
"Thats Yashiro Nene! She's the girl who's coming to the maze with us." Nene felt her best friend wrap her arms around her neck, across her shoulders.
"Oh. She kinda looks like a daikon."

"Ah."
"Mitsuba! Apologize right now, that's so mean!!" Aoi cried, kicking him.
"Ow, ow, Im sorry!!"

Later, after Aoi and Mitsuba had calmed down, they were all sitting in her garden discussing a couple things.
"Hey, Kou, haven't we met before?" Nene asked suddenly, crossing her legs.
"Huh? I don't think so.." He trailed off in thought.
"Oh!" she gasped. "You were the kid last year who tripped on Aoi's porch!"
