Kou arrived first, being dragged along by Tiara who was excitedly cheering and pointing to Aoi.
"Aoi! Hello, Aoi!" She squealed and leaped into her arms, Aoi twirling her around and giggling.
"It's been so long since we've seen each other! How's everything going?" Aoi gently sat her down and Tiara continued clinging to her leg, grinning and waving at Nene when they walked by.
"It's amazing! Amane and Tsukasa let me come over and say hi to Nene's kitten!"
Aoi pat her head and led to her to the snacks table, where she promptly sat down and allowed herself to the treats.
The rest of them arrived at 8:45 to 9, with the exception of Mitsuba, who arrived a little after 9:15. Not that it was a surprise to anyone, though.
It wasn't just them at the party, there were some of their other acquaintances from the town there as well.
Teru said Tiara wouldn't be able to stay long, so he would have to bring her back home in maybe an hour.
"Alright, remember Tsukasa. No eating any of the donuts or other sweets unless we tell you it's okay." Amane had out strict orders on Tsukasa's eating, making sure he didn't devour the entire table immediately.
For the party, Amane and Tsukasa had brought donuts, as promised. (But you could clearly tell which ones had been made or decorated by who...)
Kou and his siblings brought multiple different bags of chips, as they had been unable to cook anything.
Mitsuba just tossed a bag of chocolates on the table and called it a day, though no one was complaining.
In the living room, Aoi and Nene were helping Tiara make glitter crafts and the art table.
"Nene, look!" She held up her paper, which had a sparkly pink heart in the middle. "I'm put this on my wall~" She sung.
Nene smiled and showed Tiara hers in response. It was a snowman, outlined in silver glitter. Aoi and made a green christmas tree.
While Tiara wowed at theirs, Aoi excused herself to the snack table, promising to bring back a juice box for Tiara.
Once she was gone, Tiara turned to Nene.
Nene looked at her expectantly, waiting for her to say something.
"Did you know, Aoi is putting up mistl-" She was cut off when Tsukasa came charging through the room, chased by a very angry and flustered Kou.
Turns out, Tsukasa had thought it would be a good idea to drop an entire handful of snow down his shirt. (Spoiler alert, it was not.)
"Sorry, what was that you were saying?" Nene asked as she turned back to look at the young girl.
"Umm, never mind!" She giggled nervously when she say Aoi waking back to the table with a couple snacks in hand.
"What were you guys talking about?" Aoi asked sweetly, handing Nene one of her own rice cakes.
Nene accepted it gratefully and shrugged, not knowing herself what Tiara was gonna say.
"Nothing!" Tiara said cheerfully. "Can we have a snowball fight?" She asked with glimmers in her eyes.
Aoi thought for a moment before responding. "Hmm, it's a little cold outside.. and it's really dark,.." Tiara looked crestfallen.
"But..." And Tiara looked back up. "A couple years ago, I did get this present for Christmas. It's little white fabric balls, so we can have a snowball fight inside?" She suggested.
