Just as Nene had promised, Tsukasa was forced to wake up bright and early the next morning to let Nene into the house.

He grumbled before shutting the door behind her and going back upstairs to sleep, since Amane hadn't woken up and he had to be the one to let her in.

"Stay here." He muttered and angrily stomped up the stairs to wake up his brother.

Nene did exactly what he said, a little scared to defy Tsukasa's alter ego. He was clearly not a morning person.

Amane walked down the stairs, still rubbing his eyes and looking a little sleepy.

"Nene.. what time is it..?"

"It's 9! Bright and early, just like I said," Nene hummed, seemingly having no problem waking up this early.

Amane, on the other hand, definitely did. He didn't go to sleep until late into the night, so waking up early was not going well for him.

Even Hanako seemed to think it was too early, as he was slowly slinking his way down the stairs a little behind Amane. The only reason he was up was because Tsukasa yelling at Amane to get up shoved him off Amane's pillow.

"Um, alright. Have you had breakfast yet?" Amane asked.

"I have, but I'll go ahead and make some for you and Tsukasa."

"That's fine, you don't have to! I can do it myself,"

Nene shook her head. "Think of it as a way of making up for coming over so early, okay?"

Amane still looked a little wary. "Um, how about I help you with it and we can make breakfast together?"

"Well, if you'd like."

Nene spread the curtains over his kitchen sink, letting sunlight stream into the kitchen.

"What's you and Tsukasa's favorite breakfast meal?" Nene turned around and asked.

"I'll be okay with anything. Tsukasa likes cake," Amane responded and tossed her an apron, in which she promptly wrapped and tied around her waist.

"That doesn't seem very healthy, first thing in the morning."

"He eats cake for breakfast lunch and dinner, and he's fine," He shrugged.

"Yeah.. I don't think he's fine.." Nene whispered just to herself.

"What was that?" Amane asked innocently.

"Nothing! How about instead of cake, I make pancakes? So it's a little healthier, but still sweet?" Nene hoped Amane would agree, as she was growing increasingly concerned for Tsukasa's health.

"Hm, sure! I haven't had pancakes in a while anyways."

Nene secretly thanked the gods and swore that someday, she'd completely fix Tsukasa's eating habits.

"Alright then! If you could pass me some eggs, I'll go ahead and make the pancake batter."

Due to being unable to fall asleep, Tsukasa sighed and sat up wearily, then going to brush his teeth and slowly head down the stairs.

He kept a blanket wrapped around his shoulders, as the aching chill from outside and seeped a little bit into the house.

But when he stepped into the kitchen, the cold dull morning atmosphere had quickly melted away into a lively happy household, with yellow sun streaming into the room and two other people in the room cooking breakfast and chatting happily as the birds chirped outside the window.
