Plan B, Anyone?

* Warning...little violence no so much though. Action- packed :3*
"I'm not leaving him!" Cinder said between breaths. She looked back towards where Kai was being held by two thaumaturges.

"We can't do anything else, now can we?!" Thorne replied with a hint of anger. "Look, I know he's the emperor and everything and that you like him but-"
"No! It's not just that! He's a huge part of the plan! If he gets taken away, we might as well just kill ourselves!"

"Cinder is right" Wolf, who was in back of them, spoke up. "We cant just leave the emperor here to die, nor can we let Cinder give herself up to Levana."

Kai struggled against the thaumaturges but it was really no use. Compared to them, he was as weak as a person could get. It would be far too easy to glamour him. Mo matter what Kai did, the thaumaturges stood still with no movement whatsoever.

Cress sighed. "Are those really our only options?"

"Pretty sure" Thorne shook his head and looked towards Kai. The thaumaturges' eyes narrowed and they began to speak.

"Have u decided yet? We dont wish to keep our queen waiting" One of them said.

"But she's not your queen! Dont you get it?" Cinder said. "I am"

"Stop talking nonsense. Selene is dead. All our queen is asking is for you to decide. Let the emperor marry her majesty, or turn yourself in...for some reason"

Kai stiffened. "Cinder. Please just let me go."

"What? No!" Cinder shook her head and turned her attention towards the thaumaturges again. "What if we dont want to decide?"

The first thaumaturge striked. He kicked Cinder's stomach and she backed away a few steps. "Is that all you've got?" She could feel their glamour begin to flood her mind. It was about time she took over. Cinder entered the thaumaturge's mind and began. His eyes widened as he lost control over his own body.

She could see the second thaumaturge begin to walk away with glamoured Kai. That's when Wolf attacked. He tackled the thaumaturge and rolled until he was sitting on him. Kai stood up as quickly as he could, but the thaumaturge still managed to control him, even with Wolf distracting him.

Out of nowhere, about 6 more thaumaturges showed up. One being the head, Aimery. They attacked and glamoured anyone they could. One of them punched Cinder, well tried to atleast, but she blocked and kicked him to the ground. She managed to control his mind, along with 4 others.

Thorne, who had just gotten his sight back, was using his cane to attack anyone he could. It was fun while it lasted, until he felt the pressure of someone's energy on him. Great. He couldnt flinch when he felt himself moving towards Kai. He grabbed him by his collar and dragged him to the exit of the palace. Kai just stared at him, confused. Thorne, well atleast who was controlling him, continued dragging Kai into a room he didn't remember walking past. Levana awaited him and his friend at the center of the room.

As soon as they finished beating the 7 thaumaturges, only one was left. Aimery ran into a room neither of them knew. Cress, who was hiding behind an oversized plant, stood
up.

"Is it over?" She looked scared as ever. "Is everyone safe?"

"Fortunately" Wolf sighed and he heard Cinder groan. "Except Kai"

"And Thorne!" Cinder said, exasperated.

"Where did Thorne go?" Cress gasped.

No said nothing as they made their way into the room Aimery had gone.

The room filled with silence as soon as they entered. Levana sat on her throne and grinned. Kai was right next to her, in the second throne.

"Have you decided?" She kept her grin.

Cinder nodded. "Wire cutters"

Levana rose an eyebrow and Kai stiffened. Cinder took a deep breath and began.
