3| A tricky secret

MANDY
As much as I enjoyed being the middle woman for Mickey and Ian, they had one tricky secret. It was really difficult having to avoid telling people about it, since it was such an interesting situation.

Ian and I walked to school, separating when the bell sounded, seeing as we only had a few classes together. I had to say something, even if I couldn't tell the full truth.

"Ugh!" I groaned, shutting my locker.

"Everything okay, Mandy?" Lip walked up to me, confused.

"No! I'm stressed!" I rolled my eyes.

"What's up?" He asked, walking with me to our next class.

"Mickey and Ian are-" I stopped before I said anything I wasn't supposed to.

"Mickey and Ian are such idiots. One of Mickey's friends in Mexico is asking Mickey for help with a secret relationship. This guy wants Mickey to be the middle man who gets paid to make sure that the secret relationship is never revealed. Ian, being the loving boyfriend that he is, decided to help Mickey with the whole situation, instead of me." I lied to Lip. I knew that I had to reveal Mickey and Ian's secret without actually revealing it.

"You want me to talk to Ian?" Lip asked, smiling.

"Nah. I'll do it myself." I smiled back, seeing the cluelessness on Lip's face.

"Speak of the idiot!" Lip smirked when he saw Ian walking down the hallway.

"Why am I the idiot?" Ian asked, confused.

Both Ian and I looked at each other, worried.

"Mandy told me about the whole dude in Mexico, situation with Mickey. How the fuck are you supposed to be the middle man for the guy if you're in Chicago?" Lip asked, Ian sighing in relief.

"I don't know what Mandy told you, but it's a little more complicated than that." Ian lied.

When Lip told me what Mandy said, my heart almost dropped. Mandy had found a way to tell Lip about Mickey and I without actually telling him about Mickey and I.

The walk home from school was calm. Mandy held a textbook in her hands, re-reading a certain section over and over.

"That was a close call today." I spoke up, Mandy shutting her textbook.

"Huh?" She asked, now focusing on me.

"That was a close call today. You told Lip about Mickey and I without actually telling him about us." I looked at Mandy, who exhaled.

"Your secret isn't exactly a normal secret. I was literally uncomfortable all day trying not to tell anyone." Mandy laughed, her hand intertwined with mine.

"Well, you had a close call, but you did good. I don't think that Lip suspected anything." I smiled, placing a kiss on Mandy's head as a few other kids walked past us.

When we got to the house, I opened Mandy's from door, watching as Mickey played some video game on the TV.

"Hey lovebirds." Mickey smirked, gesturing to the fact that Terry was sitting in the kitchen.

"Mick, can I talk to you about something?" I looked at Mickey, who smirked. We walked to his room, shutting the door.

"If you wanna fuck me, can you wait another...hour? Dad's going out tonight." Mickey smiled, putting his hand on my crotch.

"As much as I'd enjoy being sucked off by you, this is about Mandy, not us." I exhaled.

"Is everything okay? Did someone fuck with Mandy?!" Mickey started getting upset.

"No! No! Nothing like that. She kinda exposed our agreement to Lip." I explained, Mickey scoffing.

"Fuckin' loud-mouthed bitch." Mickey hissed.

"She exposed our agreement to Lip, but she covered her tracks by telling Lip that the agreement is between some of your friends in Mexico." I explained, Mickey unable to hold in a chuckle.

"She may be a loud-mouthed bitch, but she sure knows how to cover her tracks." Mickey smiled, laying on his bed.

"Ian, we need to study." Mandy opened the bedroom door, smiling.

"Hey, just because you're pretending to date Ian to cover our asses, doesn't mean that he can't hang out with me. I mean, if Terry knows that you and Ian are dating, there's a zero percent chance that he suspects anything related to me and Ian fucking in my bedroom." Mickey explained, Mandy shutting the door so Terry wouldn't hear the conversation.

"So do us both a favour and fuck off. I'm hanging out with Ian." Mickey rolled his eyes, ushering Mandy out of his room before walking back over to the bed, passing me a porn magazine full of men fucking each other.

"Since when?" I held the magazine up, shocked.

"Mandy gave it to me a while ago. Whether she knew that I was gay or not, I don't know." Mickey smirked.
