FIONA
"Okay. You're going to get Mandy over here, now. You're all explaining to me what the fuck Debbie just said." I was pissed.

No, not pissed, angry, disappointed. The fact that they had all lied to me for months about the real reason why Ian was gone, I was not happy, at all.

After 15 minutes, Mandy, Ian and Mickey sat on the large couch. Ian sat in the middle, his eyes on his hands. Carl and Debbie sat on the armchair closest to the front door, while I stood in front of the fireplace. Lip sat on the chair closest to the kitchen.

"Explain." I looked at all of them, my arms crossed and my heart racing.

"It all started when Ian and Mickey came to me for help." Mandy started, knowing that no one else had the courage to speak.

"They wanted my help to keep their relationship a secret, so I agreed, as long as Mickey paid me $50 a month. We all thought that Ian and I pretending to date would be a good idea, and it did work." Mandy smiled, until she looked at me.

I knew this. I knew about the arrangement, but I let them keep going.

"At first, the arrangement was a success. We had everyone, especially my dad, fooled." Mickey spoke up, his hands starting to fidget. He seemed just as nervous as Ian.

"But then, the secret became a little too hard for me to handle. I nearly told Lip, but covered my tracks. I figured that he could know, just not about the part where it's Mickey and Ian." Mandy sighed, Lip shaking his head.

"Frank caught us, although he was drunk, so I don't think he knew that it was Mickey and I in the compromising position. Mickey was determined to kill him." Ian spoke up. I wasn't shocked to hear that Frank might've caught Mickey and Ian while drunk.

"Then my dad nearly caught us. Ian was understandably nervous and upset." Mickey rolled his eyes.

"Ian then came to me for advice. At first, he seemed to understand my advice, but I didn't expect him to actually take it." Lip sighed.

"And your advice?" I looked at Lip, who didn't want to say whatever his advice was.

"Dumbass over there suggested the Army." Mickey shook his head at Lip.

"You suggested the goddamn fuckin' Army?!" I was pissed at Lip. He should have known better.

"It was a fuckin' mistake, okay?! I get that. But I figured out the arrangement. I confronted Mandy and Mickey about the arrangement and I explained to them what Ian had asked for advice about." Lip rolled his eyes.

"What was the advice for?" I asked, curious.

"Ian said that there was an ROTC dude. He said that the dude was gay, and was hiding it from his father. Ian then went on to say that he and his partner were caught by his partner's dad a few weeks ago, and recently, his father nearly caught them. That led me to put the pieces together. I figured out that Mickey and Ian were in a secret relationship. Frank must have caught them and Terry must have been close to catching them." Lip explained.

"Then the MPs found me and asked about Ian. I lied for Ian and they seemed to believe me." Lip continued.

"We all searched for Ian, Mickey eventually finding him at a gay bar in Boystown." Mandy sighed.

"Lip explained the advice to me and Mandy. Then all of the shit happened with you catching Mandy and I swapping places, Ian going bat-shit crazy and everything else that's happened over the past few weeks." Mickey looked at Ian, holding his hand.

"So everything that's happened, from Ian illegally enlisting in the army to Terry attempting to kill Mickey and Ian, all occurred because of a secret relationship?" I was in disbelief. Maybe if they had come to me and been honest, half of the shit that happened could have been avoided.

"Oh, and don't think that you two are safe. You're both grounded." I looked over at Debbie and Carl, who both scoffed in annoyance.

"Yeah, I guess you could say that everything occurred because of the secret between us." Mandy and Mickey sat on either end of the large couch, Ian between them, his gaze on his fidgeting hands.
