She waited, expecting a horrible, sharp pain as she impacted into the ground... but it never came. She felt claws tightly gripped around her wings, lifting her up. Boriel and Shard were holding her, slowly bringing her down to the ground. She was embarrassed, and wished they would drop her and let her fall to her death, but she knew that they wouldn't let that happen. So here she was, being placed on the ground, getting stares from the two. Boriel, surprisingly, was giving her a "care to explain" kind of look, while Shard was glancing at her then looking away repeatedly. Amber grunted. Why can't these dust lickers just leave me be and let me die?

She glared at the two, and muttered everything that happened in the past few hours and how she felt. They didn't say anything at first, and they just sat in silence for a few minutes.

Boriel finally spoke up, "Between us, I can relate to your feelings of anger, me and Shard don't do much to help the group, we just are there. No offense, Shard."

"Ouch... But it's true, all we do is just follow everyone else, we never actually take action, unlike you Amber." Shard says.

"Well, I am not much of an idol, I just vent out my anger on them." Amber grunted.

"But at least you do something, sure we want to help, but we have been useless throughout our whole adventure! Everyone else has some strength or purpose except for us, we are just-just-just... I can't even explain it!" Boriel blurted, then looked away, embarrassed.

So there is something to that blobfish. She smirked to herself. It's almost funny how she relates to the most dragon out of the group.

"What's got you smiling?" Shard grunted. Boriel glanced back, but immediately turned her head back after she caught eyes with Amber. Boriel started scribbling in the snow. The snow... GEEZ IT'S COLD. THREE MOONS HOW DO THOSE SNOW BREATHERS LIKE THIS?! Boriel was shivering and Shard had wrapped his wings around himself. Fortunately, there was a nearby cave they could stow away in. They shuffled over to the cave and reluctantly huddled together.

After a while they went back to their chatter.

"It feels good to let out this frustration," Boriel says bluntly. Shard nodded, though he hadn't said much of anything, he seemed more to relate to Boriel's problems.

"You know, we could do this more often," Shard suggested. Amber shrugged. For once, she didn't necessarily dislike one of the bumblebee's ideas. Boriel nodded.

"Do you guys think the others will come for us?" Shard asked, "not that I really care." Boriel shrugged. Out of nowhere, a strong, cold blast of air bursted into the cave. Boriel ducked a rock that got caught in the wind, Shard hid behind his wing, and Amber let out a fume of fire to keep some warmth.

"Not the best conditions." Boriel said looking outside, "anyway, back to Yeti being a frog wart." Amber laughed, which she hadn't done in a while. It was getting late, and by now they decided that it was pointless to stay up.

Amber had a hard time sleeping. The cold, hard, stiff rock of the cave was irritating, and the sudden blasts of wind kept her awake. She grunted and got up, walking to the edge of the grotto, trying to be as quiet as possible so she didn't wake up the others.

She stared outside. For an annoying wasteland, it was somewhat a pretty scene, and she did not find many things pretty. The stars were bright, with blue and green lights dashed through the usually pitch black sky. The moons were gleaming, and the small amount of trees were thickened with dark green leaves. She finally felt calm.

A shadow appeared behind her. She jumped to her feet and shot a ball of fire. The figure yelped and dodged. She prepared another shot, and then it struck her. The voice sounded exactly like Shard's. Oops...
