  August and I follow the chief into her office. We take a seat in front of her desk. While she shuts the door.  Ok, gentlemen what is it you need to inform me of.

  I take a deep breath. As you know. I grew up at the Orphanage at Harvest moon.  I was left their at the age of three.

  I just recently found out that two letters were left for me. One was addressed to the alpha to keep me safe and protected. The other to give me when I found my mate.

  I recently found my mates. Which happen to be Detective August and Phoebe. The letter was from my father saying I was in danger.

  It said that those who killed my mother were hunting us. He said he took me far away from our home to keep me safe.  He said I was very special. I would be highly sought after till I was fully mated. 

  I see Gabriel. I am assuming you have a plan to keep him safe August? Yes mam, that is why we are meeting with Alpha Max tonight. If all goes well. We hope to mate and mark each other tonight.

  Only if Gabe is ready that is. I do not want to pressure him. For his safety it seems important. There is so much we do not know.

  I trust you to keep me updated. If you decide to mate tonight.  Take the morning off.

I will call you if there is action at Harvest moon. Ok you two better meet up with everyone. You need to meet with the Alpha and Ms. Sarah.

  Thanks Chief, I appreciate everything. I follow August out of her office to meet up with Kara and team B.

  Gabe do you think Ms. Sarah and the Alpha will go with our plan. Most definitely August. They will do whatever is needed to keep everyone safe. 

  What happens if they do not make a move tonight. We will keep up the surveillance and come up with another reason to keep the kids out of harms way.

  August you realize even if you catch these guys. There will be others looking for me. As long as they believe my kind exists.

I will be hunted. I will protect you Gabe. We will come up with a plan.

  Gabriel, Phoebe and I will keep you safe. She is a fierce warrior. Never underestimate her because she is a woman. Her dad is known as the strongest Alpha for a reason.

  You will understand that after tonight. Also once he knows you are Phoebe's other mate. He will protect you. He will see you as family. He keeps what he values most very protected.

  Thanks August I feel a bit better. We better meet up with everyone.  I also cannot wait to see Ms. Sarah.

You will make sure she is safe right August? She is the closest thing to a mother I had growing up. I know Gabe, Kara is one of our best Detectives. She will keep her safe.

  About an hour later we are sitting in Alpha Gordon's office. We are going over the plan with him and Ms. Sarah. The alpha agrees with us about keeping most of the children away from the Orphanage.

Ms. Sarah said her and Detective Kara should be fine being locked down with the teenagers. They are going to order pizza. They can play cards and board games to keep them distracted.

  I thanked everyone immensely because they are at risk because of me. I appreciate what they are doing. Their lives are in danger because I am being hunted. I know it is not my fault. I still worry.

  We went over every detail and double checked the cameras and the surrounding areas. Once we felt everything was satisfactory. I went to find Ms.Sarah.  I told her good luck. Also please stay safe and gave her some hugs. 

  She wished me luck with everything. She lectured August that he better keep me safe.  We said our goodbyes to everyone.

  We then head back to the raging river pack to meet up with Phoebe.  Now I just had to get through tonight and hope for the best.

  I am so worried for many reasons. I am meeting Alpha Max. I will be introduced as his daughters mate. I also have to explain my situation and ask for his protection.

I am stressed about all those at risk at the Harvest moon pack. On top of it I am concerned. With the possibility of completing the mating process tonight.

  When we arrive at the raging river pack Phoebe is waiting for us. August tells her about our day. The progress we made on the case.

I kiss her cheek and tell her I am going to shower and change. Phoebe then goes on that I have an hour. We are expected at my parents place around 6:30pm.

  I head to my room to shower and shave. After I am feeling fully refreshed. I then go to sort through my clothes and decide what to wear. Phoebe said I do not need to dress up. I can be semi casual.

  Now if I can figure out what that means. I am nervous and want to make a good first impression. I also do not want to look like I tried to hard.

I finally decided on a black sweater with black skinny jeans and my black boots. My hair is pulled back. I hope I look decent enough.

  I walk into the sitting room with ten minutes to spare. August and Phoebe are just sitting together finishing up their tea. They glance at me and ask if I am ready.

  I just nod and walk towards them. They stand and I follow them out the door. August grabs my hand and tells me we are walking. Phoebe grabs my other hand and I just let them lead me.

  On the way there August tells me I look good. I blush and thank him. Phoebe tells me not to be nervous.

Her dad may come off as scary. He is actually very kindhearted. I will also be meeting her mom Luna Christine.

  She also has an Older brother Vince.  Who will be the next alpha and his mate Esmeralda. Then she has two younger siblings.

Her sister Jana who is a year younger than her. She just found her mate Libby. Her youngest brother Lance is only eighteen. She told me to be wary of him. He can be a prankster.

  I am excited to be joining a large family. It is a nice change from being alone. August said his family is not as large. His father is deceased.

It is only his mom and his younger twin siblings. Mel and Mena and they are mated to twin brothers Seth and Saul. By the time we arrive I am calmer and not as nervous.
