  The next morning we wake up to all of our phones ringing. August answers his phone first. It is the Chief. She wants us at the headquarters as soon as possible. I guess no post mating cuddling for us.

  My phone rings again and I answer it. It is Ms. Sarah on the phone. She said she had a very eventful night. It turns out the orphanage was broken into last night.

  They were so quiet that neither Ms. Sarah or the teenagers heard a thing. They never realized anyone broke in until the morning. All the detectives or the alpha would say. Is that they now have a lead and more information. I tell her to stay safe. We will catch up later.

  I notice Phoebe is also on the phone. It sounds like she is talking to her father the Alpha. Yes dad we completed the mating.

Yes dad I will make sure August or I am at his side till the perpetrator is in custody. Thanks dad I love you to, then Phoebe hangs up.

  Ugh Phoebe sighs. We better go take a shower she says. It sounds like there will be a lot to do today. I am going to meet up with my dad after you two head to the station.

  I stand up and tell them. I will shower in my room and get dressed. I will meet you down stairs shortly. They each give me a brief kiss and we separate.

  I shower and get ready for my day. I am dressed in grey slacks and a blue polo shirt. When I walk in the kitchen.

August is starting the coffee. We need to get moving. We will take our coffee togo.

  Phoebe left out some orange cranberry scones and chocolate chip muffins. We each grabbed some for the road. We give Phoebe kisses good bye and head out.

  When August and I walk into headquarters. The whole place is buzzing. August has not said much. 

I only know what Ms. Sarah told me.  We walk back towards the debriefing room. Where August set me up the other day.

  Chief sees us and gestures for us to follow her to her office. Gabriel how are you today? Fine mam thanks for asking. Ok to the point. The perpetrators definitely broke into the Orphanage last night.

  I believe you are right. That they are targeting you. Obviously we took out all your records.

There is no proof you were ever at Harvest moon. They went through all records of individuals with in six months of your age.

  They must have had a lead to the age of the person. I do believe they have no idea who exactly they are looking for. We had cameras all over the premises. The people in the office wore dark hoods keeping their identities hidden.

  Some of their watch out crew outside were not as careful. We are hoping they may help with a lead to who the others are. Alpha Gordon and his warriors could not scent them. They must have a witch or someone else helping hide them. We still are clueless with who we are dealing with.

   August I would like you to continue to protect Gabe. Even though instinctively. I know you and Phoebe will. As he is your mate. I see you completed the mating process.

  I blush crimson red tinting my cheeks. Yes chief Phoebe and I will keep him safe. He is staying with us. Alpha Max already set up extra precautions. That is great news August.

  We are hoping the perpetrators move on and target another orphanage. That would mean our set up worked and they are clueless. That he is linked to Harvest moon.
