Chapter 18

   About a month has passed by. Phoebe August and I have grown closer. We got to know each other better. We had some fun separate date nights and lots of steamy moments.

  It turns out Phoebe does have control over earth. Meaning she can grow vines, plants, flowers etc. she also can move rocks or cause the earth to quake. We all have been learning to control our powers.

  We know there will be a day. When we will need them. The Orphanage burglary case has been stagnant.

It is like they just gave up or stopped. We do not believe that. The packs and Elves are still keeping with the extra security.

  I continue checking on all the children at the orphanages that were involved. I developed a tight relationship with Sienna. I brought it up to August and Phoebe about possibly fostering or adopting her. She is half elven half wearwolf.

  She is a strong sweet soul. I believe she would fit in well with us. I have even taken Phoebe to meet her. The two of us have been ganging up on August to convince him. He wanted to wait till we have our own children.

  Phoebe and I feel why not share the love. I know what it is like being an orphan. I would love to give a child like me a loving home.

I know we can do that. It would not change if we have our own children. The more the merrier.

  My friends are coming over to visit today. Bruce and Tiana. I am so excited. It is Sunday and we all have the day off. Phoebe and I made lunch. Nothing to fancy.

We grilled some chicken and hamburgers. I made a Greek salad and August made potato salad. Phoebe made strawberry shortcake for desert.

  The five of us are planning on playing Scrabble. I am so excited. I love word games. Phoebe was not thrilled she would rather play something more active.

  August and Phoebe both get along great with Tiana. Bruce is another story. August and him do not see eye to eye often. They clash to easily. They do try to get along for my behalf.

  What makes it even better. We are all at my tiny place at Harvest moon. It is more centrally located for everyone. I am setting the table for lunch. August set up the scrabble in my living room.

  My friends arrive together. We all say our hello's and go to grab food. I love food and noticed I have been eating much more lately. We all enjoy lunch. We then go sit in the living room to start our scrabble game.

  About mid way through the game. I am leading. Tiana is losing and I am quite surprised. Just as August is putting down galaxy on a triple word score spot a blaring alarm starts going off.

  Phoebe stands up first. The pack is under attack. They all immediately surround me. Gabe where is the bunker? You need to get to safety.

  I look at August in disbelief. You know I have powers and can defend myself. Yes, but you may be the target here. We are not gifting you to the enemy Gabe.

    I know they are right. The bunker is inside the pack house. Tiana grabs my hand pulling me after her.

You guys go defend the territory. Find out what is going on. I will make sure Gabriel gets to safety. I promise Tiana says.

    I kiss both of my mates and tell them all to stay safe. I follow Tiana towards the bunker. As we reach the pack house.

The Luna is there directing people where to go. She sees us and waves us to head to the basement bunker with the elderly and children.

  We do as we are told. I hate it. I know I am capable of fighting. I also know my mates are right. This attack is most likely led by the people targeting the orphanages.

  Tiana and I get locked into the bunker safely. She asks me if I am ok. What do you think Tiana. My mates are fighting. I am hid away with the weak that cannot fight.

  I am special and have powers. I should be out there. If August or Phoebe use their powers our secret will be blown. I hope they realize that.

  It would defeat the purpose of me being hidden. They will know I am here. The bad guys could also just think they are witches or have elven magic like me. I guess Tiana. I am just worried. I get it Gabe.

  So Gabriel how has it been being mated to two strong beautiful mates. Are you jealous Tiana? Damn skippy I am.

I am older than you and still have not found my mate. You are lucky. Plus August and Phoebe seem pretty great.

   They really are great. A bit over protective. Phoebe is crazy possessive. I am getting used to it.

I am looking forward to a future with them. As I finish speaking. I get really dizzy and grab my head.

   The next thing I see is myself with a large stomach. I am pregnant. I am being chased by someone.

I am in a heavily wooded area. I hear wolves howling. Then I am back in the bunker with Tiana shaking my shoulder.

  Welcome back Gabe what happened? It was a vision. I then remembered what I saw and put my hand on my tummy.

Tiana follows my movement. What is it Gabe. I whisper in my vision. I am heavily pregnant.

  Tiana looks me over. Do you think you are now? I do not know Tiana. We have had a lot of sex.

  We do not use protection. It is possible. Do you want to know Gabe? I can tell you, or do you want to wait for your mates?

  Tiana I would like to know, Ok Gabe. She places her hand on my flat tummy. It glows a bright blue. You can see two little round like sacs glow.

  Gabe you are most definitely pregnant and with twins. My guess would be about five weeks. That sounds about right Tiana.

  I am glad we are in the corner away from everyone else. We do not need people to see or hear what is going on. Our conversation and findings need to stay secret for now. I will be telling my mates soon.

  I hope this ends soon. Tiana I am worried it has been almost two hours. What is going on out there. I have no idea Gabe. We do not get cell service down here.

  Otherwise I would call my family on elven territory. I am sure they know what is going on. Look I will grab us some magazines to look at. We need to keep our minds off of it ok. I just want my mates.
