Chapter 29

When I first woke up. I did not remember much. It was in flashes a Griffin landing in the woods. My dad in human form. Then my water breaking and I was being carried.

The next thing I know. I am in bed with my sweet boys on my chest. My dad and August each on opposite sides of me.

I can not believe I was out for three days. I missed the fight at Harvest moon. My boys are healthy, and our future looks bright.

My dad met up with Alpha max. He is going to send Beta Collin with us to look at some open unclaimed territory. We are going to meet up with him next week. Since I want to be included. Especially because eventually it will be my families residence also.

Alpha Max said he is finally considering handing over the pack to Phoebes eldest brother. Beta Collin will hand over his title to his only son Ryan at the same time. They are thinking of having the ceremony in about three months.

  The Alpha said that should give him enough time to wrap up any unfinished business he may have. It also gives him time for any last minute training the future Alpha or Beta may need.

I was glad to be able to move around again. I was getting to know my father and spending a lot of time with my sons. Him and his fellow griffins have been temporarily put up in the pack house.

It will be nice to eventually have a place for them all. First we have to find the land then it will take time to build it to our liking. The alpha wants his beta involved.

  Since his family meaning Phoebe, his grandchildren and his youngest son Lance will all be moving to this new territory. We have already discussed raging river, harvest moon and the crystal clan being among our first Allies.

A week later

My dad, August and I are meeting with the Beta today. Tiana and Lance will be with Phoebe and the twins. August wants a say on where his family will live.

He wants to make sure it is safe. I agree and feel more comfortable with him. I have met beta Collin a few times but he is very intimidating.

We are meeting the Beta and the Alpha in front of the pack house. I guess they have three prospects for our new home. My dad is going with us. He spends the majority of his time with us and helping me with the boys. 

  He keeps telling me. He does not want to miss a thing like he did with me. I know he feels guilty. I understand it was for my safety.

August and I kiss phoebe and the boys. We then meet my dad outside to walk over to the pack house. My dads best friend Jose will be going with us today also. He is basically my dad's beta or right hand. He helps him with anything that may be needed. 

We get near the pack house. Jose is standing out front with the Alpha and Beta. My dad waved to Jose then tenses up beside me.

Gabe who is the tall buff guy next to Jose. Dad that is Beta Collin. Why is there something wrong. Gabe I think he may be my second chance mate. Oh dad.

We get quiet and walk towards them. The betas head snaps toward my dad. His eyes change color as he sniffs the air. 

I walk closer, hi Jose, Alpha Max and Beta Collin. Dad this is Beta Colin. My dad looks at the Beta as his eyes change to gold and he says Mate.

Not happening, I had a mate. I am straight says Collin.  I thought I was straight also. My first mate was a female says my dad. Beta Collin looks pissed. I am afraid my father is about to be rejected.
