LOTR/TH Oneshots and Preferences

~Elrond x Reader~

This is a Rings of Power story so this may contains spoilers if you have no seen the show. 
And lastly this story was requested by @TrashlingDumb I hope you enjoy 

You and Disa were in the kitchen of her lovely home cooking a meal for the boys who were currently in the mine. You started to get worried since they were in there for a while. 

"Something on your mind dear" Disa said continuing her part of the meal 

"Oh um no not really just a bit worried"

"No need to worry theyll be here soon"

Feeling uncertain you take some portions of the food that was already done and another pouch of water

"Ill be back in a moment they must be exhausted"

With that you left the kitchen to the mines. Walking to where the mines were you went inside being aware of rocks and the tight spacing but it wasnt a problem. Going further and further into the mine you began to hear the voices of Durin and Elrond and the pounding of the rocks. 

"Hey" You said nearing closer and sitting beside Elrond 

"Hey what are you doing down here" Elrond said straightening his posture 

"Though you guys might be hungry and I didnt know if you needed more water but I brought some more" You said holding out a can of water to both of them 

Durin set down his pick and took the water chugging it and Elrond did the same. The boys took a small break and they talked and laughed and told you stories of each other. It was cute how well the two bonded (reminds me of another certain elf and dwarf, ok im sorry back to the story)

"This was fun but I dont wanna keep Disa waiting ill leave you two be now"

Getting up you said your goodbyes smiling at Elrond leaving him with a big dumb smile on his face to, then he too picked up his pick and began working once more. 

~Timeskip~

You had just gotten back to Disa's kitchen to have a nice meal as it was done already but your attention was drawn towards the heavy footsteps of dwarf guards. You looked at them confused until two grabbed either one of your arms and started dragging you away 

"Hey let go of me where am I going!"

You pleaded for them to let you go as you were helplessly being dragged all across the dwarf kingdom you had barely even known. You were soon put down as you reached the entry and there you were thrown to the ground as the door shut close. 

You look around confused as to what just happened when you saw Elrond outside with you too sitting down with his head in his hands, you rushed to his aid to see what was wrong 

"Elrond? Are you ok? What happened?"

"I just dont want to talk about it ok can we go home" He said under his breathe but loud enough to hear 

You pulled him to his feet and held his hands worried for him, but you couldnt bring yourself to ask again Elrond never really got upset so you had never really seen him genuinely frustrated or tired. 

"Lets go home ok, Ill fix us something to eat and we can just rest ok"

Elrond looked up at you meeting your eyes and soft smile and he realized it would be ok and he could tell you anything. 

"Yeah lets do that"

"Ok but your telling me why the hell we got kicked out"

"Ok ok calm down" He said with a nervous chuckle at your sudden burst of frustration
