Sam x Reader Part 1

Sam stood there dumbfounded at your supposed confession as you continued to stand on your tiptoes leaning closer to him, then kissing his cheek. 

"I had a really nice time tonight Sam, Thank you"

You waved walking inside your home. 

~Flashback~

Tonight was Bilbo's 111th birthday and all of Hobbiton was celebrating. Soon the night of the party came and everyone was bustling around in huge crowds of people dancing around and having a good time while children all sat in a circle around Bilbo as he told them stories of his past adventures. 

Soon in the huge crowd you found Sam and Frodo. Joining them, drinking Ale together you all laughed and danced together enjoying and eventful evening. Once you were all burnt out and ready to go home Sam asked to walk you home. 

You said yes an the two of you were off. The walk was painfully quiet until you reached your home, you really wanted to thank Sam and give a little hint that you liked him. 

~End of flashback~

You close the door behind you an run to your couch grabbing a pillow and screaming lightly into it. Not enough for anyone outside to hear though

Meanwhile Sam was outside melting reminiscing the kiss that you planted on his cheek. He couldn't wait t return it 

~Timeskip~

You decided after a while of sitting on your couch to go out for a small walk around the shire. You got up and started walking around. You passed Sams house maybe youll pay him a visit. 

You knock on his door but there was no answer, you knock again an no one came. You werent worried all too much and just started to continue to walk until you got away from most of the homes of the other Hobbits. 

Shortly after walking around you saw two people walking towards the woods. Being curious you decided to walk a bit closer and upon seeing the faces of the two men you saw it was Sam and Frodo but where were they going. 

"Sam" You said loud enough for him to hear as you revealed yourself from the tree you had been hiding behind 

The boys turned to you struck with shock, they surely did not expect to see you wandering so close to the woods away from your home this late. 

"Uh Y/n w-what are you doing"

"I was on a walk and I saw you guys"

The two boys looked at each other not knowing what to do. Sam made his way to you and held your face in his hands. You then became a bit more worried by each passing second as Sam stuttered and hesitated to speak.

"Y/n I have to go"

"Go where, when will you be back"

Same then hesitated to tell you as much as he wanted to he couldnt "I-i cant say but can you promise me something"

You nod and he began once more "I want you to stay here and wait for me, no matter how long it takes even if I dont come back will you still wait for me"

You nodded once more and he brought your head down a little bit to kiss the top of your head. Now you were really scared what did he mean by even if he never came back. Sam let go of you and him and Frodo scurried off to who knows where. You ran back home you didnt know whether to cry or just be absolutely terrified maybe a bit of both. Regardless you did what Sam asked.
