Bilbo x Reader

There were many reasons Bilbo fell in love with you and made you his wife. Everything about you was perfect to him every time he remembers how much he loves you he remembers memories of every aspect. 

Your stubbornness  
"Wait wait" Bilbo called out to the company leaving on their horses 

"I signed it" 
He said out of breath

Not long before they got him a horse they heard more footsteps, following right behind Bilbo was you. Bilbo was surprised he thought he had left while you were still sleeping. You grabbed him by the ear and pull him.

"What the hell is wrong with you! Leaving while you thought I was asleep after I told you id be there for whatever you chose" 

"Ow ow ow! love ok please stop" 

You let go of his ear but continuing to make a scene. 

"Ok let me explain, I tried to leave without you because I didnt want you coming ok" 

Everyone watched as Bilbo tried to reason with you yet it didnt work. There was no way he could reason with you now your mind was made up.

"No no no that is it im coming with all of you whether you want me too or not someone needs to make sure you boys arent irresponsible" 

Bilbo sighed knowing there was nothing he could do now, from there the dwarves got you a horse and you and Bilbo climbed on. 

How much you cared for him
"Bilbo love are you ok" you asked looking at your husband worried

"Yes yes im ok just a little lightheaded is all"

"Lightheaded!!" 
You sat him down on the couch and got him a glass of water

"Why are you lightheaded have you been eating or drinking anything lately" 

He shook his head and you go to the cupboard to get him something to eat. Placing it in front of him you sat by him once more. 

"Are you ok" 

"I am now" he said smiling leaning down for a kiss

How you never wanted to leave his side
Arriving at the mountain of Erebor Bilbo went inside walkign down the stairs, still quite worried especially after hearin about Smaug.

"Bilbo wait!" You called after him running down the stairs to his side.

"Yes love"

"Please be careful"

He placed his hands on your arms and rubbed them in comfort oh how he wished he could tell you about the ring

"Dont worry I will"
You gave him a skeptical look

"Im serious Bilbo be careful of I will go in there and fight that dragon myself"

You both laughed knowing you wouldnt

"But Bilbo im serious be careful"

Rubbing your shoulders once more you both headed the opposite way, turning around real quick you jump into his arms and kiss him. After some time Bilbo was forced to pull away 

"Ok ok I have to go now please" 
You nodded and finally left

How protective you were 
You and the rest of the dwarves were sitting outside as Bilbo went inside the mountain to claim Thorins big stone of power that gave him a home. You scoffed at that, it was all he cared about. It was honestly just a stone you thought, how could it be the symbol you were the king of your home if you were already born royal.

Soon you all heard and felt a big rumble beneath you. Smaug was awoken. Your eyes went wide as you looked over at the doorway that went inside the mountain. 

"We have to go help him!" 

You go to rush inside but Dwalin stopped you.

"No he has to get the stone"

You couldnt believe Thorin. 

"What, the stone. Thats all you care about, THORIN! My husband is in there trying to retrieve the one thing you want risking his life and all you care is that damn stone. We are all risking our lives for you! and you dont even care. Me and Bilbo literally left our home for you. YOU UNGRATEFUL LITTLE-"

You hadnt even noticed you were walking towards Thorin and Fili and Kili had to hold you back so you hadnt killed anyone. Bilbo was definitely hearing about this later 

How you were always worried for him 
Throrin soon went inside to go see if Bilbo had the stone so you could all leave. You sat there still angry trying to calm down. But you finally had enough you slipped inside.

"Wheres the stone" 

Thorin said blocking the entrance way of the stairs so Bilbo couldnt get away. Bilbo was trying to explain as he frantically looked around. Getting to the end of the stairs you push Thorin out of the way and hold Bilbos face in your hands

"Bilbo honey are you alright are you hurt"

"Yes yes im fine its just we have bigger problems right now" 

You looked at him with worry and fear in your eyes, Bilbo noticed. Placing his hands on yours you relaxed but that comfort was soon interrupted by a big roar of the dragon sleeping in Erebor.

Your thriving beauty  
Bilbo wasnt one to fall for looks, yet when he met you, you were the most beautiful hobbit he has ever met. And that was confirmed on the day of your wedding.

The moment he saw you walk down the aisle in your white dress, his hands went to his mouth and his eyes started to tear up. Although it was a simple dress you had made yourself it was just as beautiful as you. 

Once at the alter you could hear Bilbo whisper something under his breath 'I dont deserve this' is what he had said. Its what he felt and what he still feels to this day

How easily he can calm you down
You were a strong hobbit although you were often teased and made fun of for it. Female hobbits were never expected to speak there opinion or have a temper such as you had but you didnt care.

It had been another day and you were trying to sew a hole that you had ripped in your dress. Your temper got the best of you because the stitch you were trying wasnt working and you tossed the fabric on the ground. Resulting in you poking yourself and your finger started to bleed

Bilbo came up behind you and hugged you

"Whats wrong love" 

"The stitch isnt working" You huffed 

He took his hand in yours and wiped off the blood from your finger

"No reason to get mad, try again" The two of you smiled at each other 

How easily you could calm HIM down 
It was just a normal day but Bilbo was mad and he didnt know why he just was. Walking into the living room you see him sitting at the couch with his arms crossed. Walking to the back of the couch you place your hands on his shoulders and start to rub them. 

Crouching down to his level you speak to him "Are you ok"

He shrugged "I dont know" 

You could feel him relax as you continued to message his shoulders. Chuckling you let go.

"Ill make you something to eat ok" Kissing his cheek you were off leaving him smiling

It was no joke Bilbo loved every part of you.

Your smile
Your sympathetic touch 
Your witty jokes
Your random bursts of energy
The reason why he feel in love with you really was the fact you never cared, always spoke your opinion and you were strong. Nothing got past you with. Falling in love with such a irritable, short tempered, grumpy mess was quite the journey itself. 
He loved every part of you and you loved every part of him. Making sure each one of you is ok each day your life sure was full of great and wondrous memories.
