LOTR/TH Oneshots and Preferences

~Theo x Reader~

This is a Rings of power story spoilers for episode 6

You look over your shoulder out to the sea of people trying to find Theo. You were hoping to celebrate with him since the people of Numenor came to your aid to help defeat the Orcs. 

Findng your way through everyone you saw Theo sitting on a rock, you skipped over ot him with a big happy smile then sat by his side

"Theo why do you look so down cmon we should be celebrating" You bump his shoulder with your arm

He still didnt look at you. You bend down a little trying to get a glimpse of his face, you brought up your hand to Theo and waved it in front of him

"Earth to Theo" he then grabbed your wrist forcefully and looked at you

"Are you mad at me"

You looked at him confused

"What do you mean, why would I be mad"

Looking into his eyes you could see he was upset. You knew why. It wasnt his fault he gave away the sword, he was terrified of seeing his mother and everyone there being hurt he only did what felt right. 

"Theo im not mad, if anything im so proud of you" The grip he had on your wrist loosened 

"Theo I remember being terrified to my stomach in the tavern knowing what was about to happen, when I was by your side I coudlve only imagined hundreds if not thousand scenarios in my head of what would happen"

"And when we were help captive by the Orcs having a knife held to our throats, I was about to cry, and when they started hurting people left and right after Arondir didnt say anything I could only think that maybe you would be next, or even me"

He let go of your wrist and you both looked at each other

"Theo you were scared, and thats ok everyone was you did what you felt was right there are plenty of people out there who would be in your position and woudvle said nothing and let more people die, granted either way we woudlve died if it hadnt been for Numenor but still. I couldnt be more proud of you please dont beat yourself up over this"

He gave a small smile but you knew he still wasnt better. You pulled him closer to you to the point where both your arms and legs were touching. You took his hand in yours to stop him from picking at his skin. Theo looked at you and you looked back at him 

"Im so proud of you" you whisper but loud enough for him to hear 

Both you and Theo start to lean in for a kiss both closing your eyes but were then interrupted. Someone needed your help, you gave Theo a smile and stood up.

"Perfect timing looks like Arondir is coming too"

Theo let you go reluctantly and Arondir sat where you once did.
