You and richie were playing streetfighter while vibing on music coming from speakers. you were very concentrated until your favorite song came up. 'i wanna be yours' by arctic monkeys (act like the song came out then). you started singing to the song, not laying an eye off the screen.
"cause i wanna be yours, i wanna be yours" you hummed. richie started whispering something. "richie shut up im not gonna look at you" "i bet u will" "i wont" you smiled. some random footsteps stopped at streetfighter and left quickly. you kept humming along the song. "okay look at me, now." richie demanded, the game ended so you decided to look.
you saw him, with flowers in his hand. you gasped at the sight. richie sang along to the lyrics.
"secrets i have held in my heart, are harder to hide then i thought, maybe i just wanna be yours, i wanna be yours." he sang, smiling. tears filled your eyes. "r-richie" you couldnt form words
you followed the song. "i wanna be yours." you smiled and hugged him.
