"What a fucking horrible Alpha." The words echoed in Theo's head, as he allowed River to bandage his hand. He should have never let the situation grow so out of his control. He also should have stopped Vincent from hitting Demitri. Even if the pure disrespect Demitri showed, deserved a good slap, it shouldn't have happened.

"There, you're all done." Theo could tell that River was displeased with him but the bear's anger was something he didn't need to worry about. Also, he didn't care. It wasn't any of River's business how he treated Demitri.

River packed up the first aid kit and left Theo alone in his office. After Demitri had passed out he was carried to his bedroom and locked up. He will be staying in his room until Theo felt like letting him out. He also lost his privilege of roaming the woods and any foreseeable events that Theo had planned for them. It was a very fitting punishment he thought.

Theo rubbed at the bandage around his hand and glared down at it. He didn't expect Demitri to put up such a fight as he did. Was he really unable to bare offspring though? Theo needed to get to the bottom of this.

"Quinn, get in here." He knew Quinn stood outside his office door waiting for Theo's next instructions. Quinn slipped in, his green eyes looking tired and defeated.

"Yes, Sir?" Theo let his hand go and went around his desk to sit in his chair.

"I want Alexander Rose in my office at the main building in the next twenty-four hours. He owes me an explanation on his son." Quinn agreed with Theo and pulled out his cell phone. He dialed Mr. Rose up and the snow leopard answered on the third ring.

"Hello?" Theo grinned and leaned back in his chair as Quinn put the phone on speaker.

"Good evening Mr. Rose. I have a few problems with the Omega you sent me." There was nothing but silence on the other end but Theo could hear heavy breathing.

"I-I told you, he was a problem. He's yours now, so why are you calling me?" Theo folded his hands over his lap, his thumb brushing against the bandage.

"I'm calling you because I want the truth. Did you know that the Omega you sent me was infertile? He's unable to give me an heir after you promised me he would." He stood up out of his seat, panting in rage at the reminder of the snide remark Demitri threw at him.

"T-That's not right. I had him tested since his first heat at eighteen. All of them came back the same, proving that he was fertile."

"Well, that means one of you is lying. Demitri told me that he was tested at the age of twenty-two and it said that he was infertile. So which is it, Mr. Rose?" Theo rapped his fingers on his desk as he waited for Alexander to answer him.

"He must be lying to you, Theodore. He doesn't want children, I've heard him say it." Theo rolled his eyes and glared at the phone.

"I want you in my office in less than twenty-four hours, Mr. Rose. If you're not there by then, then I will take your company. I will make you go bankrupt and fire both of your sons." He snarled, his anger filling up the room.

"You can't do that." There was nothing else Theo could threaten. It was obvious that Alexander didn't care for Demitri, so it's not like he could hang that over his head.

"I can and I will. Be at my office tomorrow morning, Mr. Rose." He gave Quinn a pointed look and the dragon hung up on him. He shoved his phone back into his pocket and Theo could tell he wanted to ask questions.

"What is it, Quinn?"

"What will you do about Demitri, Sir? If it's true that he can't give you an heir, what will you do with him?" It was a question that Theo hasn't thought about yet. There were a few things about Demitri that he liked, but was that a good enough reason to keep him around? What if he caused even more trouble than he did today? Would Theo be able to rein in his rebellious personality and tame him?

Theo didn't know where it went wrong in the first place. They were doing so well. Demitri was falling for him and Theo was getting ready to mate and mark him. Now the Omega was locked up in his room and Theo was trying to make out the difference between truth and lies.

"Leave him for now. He's in isolation, so that means no one talks to him and he doesn't leave his room. He'll stay like that until I say so."

That night, Theo lay in bed and stared up at his ceiling. His thoughts go from one thing to another. If it was true that Demitri wasn't able to give him an heir, then that means that Theo had to get rid of him. Or keep Demitri as his and knock someone else up. Was having an heir really that important though? He could always give the hitman business to someone else in his clan.

Theo rolled over and stared at his bedroom door. He couldn't help but think about Demitri being only a couple of doors away from him. Why did he care though? Why did it hurt to see him in pain? He looked so angry as he screamed and cursed at Theo.

In the back of Theo's fucked up head, he knew being nice to Demitri would make the Omega fall for him. He knew what he was doing and how much it would hurt Demitri when he found out. Why couldn't Theo fall in love like a normal person? Why did he view love as something foreign and strange?

Theo sighed before he rolled over again and faced away from his door. He closed his eyes, trying to block out the thoughts swimming in his head. It just brought up Demitri's words that were screamed at him. He knew he was a horrible Alpha but it's not like he could help it. It was just who he was.

At around three in the morning, Theo finally fell asleep. When his alarm went off at six, he groaned and shut it off. He burrowed back under the blankets but was interrupted by a knock on his door. Theo threw the blanket over his head and didn't call out to whoever it was.

"Theodore get your lazy ass up and come down for breakfast," River shouted through the door. Theo sighed but didn't get up from bed. He really didn't want to go to work. When Theo still didn't answer him, River came bursting into his room.

"Didn't your mother ever teach you to knock?" Theo said, as he sat up and rubbed at his eyes.

"But I did knock. Now get up and come downstairs for breakfast." River left his room but didn't shut the door behind him. If Theo wanted to go back to sleep, then he would have to get up and close his door. Might as well get ready while he was up.

Theo got dressed in a coal-black suit, leaving the first two buttons of his button-up shirt undone. He slipped on his shiny black loafers, grabbed his phone, wallet, and keys, and headed downstairs. He stopped on the staircase, looking back at Demitri's door. He kept going after he shook his head. He did not just think about letting him out, did he? What was wrong with him? He couldn't go soft and lift Demitri's punishment. That wouldn't teach the Omega a lesson at all.

As he made it into the kitchen, he made his way to the table and sat down. The only noise came from the twins. Theo moved his food around on his plate but only ate a couple of bites. He wasn't that hungry, as an unknown feeling entered his stomach. He didn't know what it was but he was growing increasingly agitated at it.

"Did you feed, Demitri?" He asked River, who paused in his feeding of Jay to give Theo a nod. The confirmation settled his stomach just a tad. He ate a few more bites before he pushed his plate away and waited for Quinn to finish eating.

Quinn kissed River and the twin's goodbye, then waited for Theo to get up. Theo said bye to them and then followed Quinn outside to the car that sat in the driveway. They got into the car, Theo in the back and Quinn in the driver's seat.

"Ready, Sir?" Theo gave him a nod and turned his head to look out the window. That same feeling came back as he looked up to the area where Demitri's room was. Why did he feel like this?
