Synthia's P.O.V

I couldn't believe that I was actually pregnant. It didn't really seem real, but I knew that it had to be at the same time. I was also somewhat surprised that Audrey was so supportive of me. I half expected her to leave me once she found out. I'm very grateful for the support that she's decided to give me, though. I love her so much. I had been wondering recently if she was thinking about proposing to me, and it turns out that she was. "How are you handling this?" Audrey asked me. "I'm not entirely sure how to feel about it," I said. "I can understand that. We've got two huge changes, with our engagement and the baby," she said. "I know literally nothing about being a parent. I'm scared that I'll be nothing but a failure," I admitted. "Babe, look at me," Audrey said, so I looked at her. "I'll help you out with all of it. You're not going to be a failure, I promise," she said, putting her hand on my cheek. I smiled at the physical contact, and she lightly kissed me. "Feel better?" She asked. "Yeah, much better. Thank you," I said.

Audrey's P.O.V

A few days after learning of Synthia's pregnancy, I was able to get permission to set up a video conference with her mom Sarah. We sat down together on our couch with a tablet set up in front of us so we could talk to Sarah. "Can one of you wave or something? I'm not sure if I can see you," she said when we connected. I waved at her, and she kind of jumped a little. "Oh! Sorry, I still had Solitaire pulled up on my screen! Silly me!" She said. "Hey Mom," Synthia said with a sort of nervous wave. "Hi sweetheart!" Sarah replied with an enthusiastic wave. "We have some news to share with you," I said. "Okay, go ahead," Sarah said, now sounding much more serious. "Well, firstly, Synthia and I are engaged," I said. "Oh! That's wonderful! I'm so happy for the both of you!" Sarah exclaimed happily. "There's more," Synthia said, gulping nervously. "What is it? It's not something bad, is it?" Sarah asked, now starting to sound a little nervous herself. "Mom... I'm pregnant," Synthia said, and upon hearing this, it looked like Sarah was on the verge of fainting. "Ahem. Do you know who the father is?" Sarah asked after composing herself. "Yes, but he cannot find out, okay?" Synthia asked. "Of course. My lips are sealed," Sarah said, pretending to zip up her lips. "Harry Hook is the father. He kidnapped me and put me under a love spell," Synthia said.

Synthia's P.O.V

After talking to my mom, we still had to tell our friends, so we asked them all to meet us at the enchanted lake. Mal and Ben were first to arrive, and the first thing that Mal noticed was the engagement ring on my finger. "You finally asked her, huh?" Mal asked. "Yeah," Audrey said. "You knew she was going to propose to me?" I asked. "Yeah. Everyone knew except you. Audrey wanted help from me, Evie, Carlos and Jay about the kind of ring that you would want," Mal explained. That was when Evie, Doug, Jay, and Lonnie arrived together and congratulated Audrey and I on our engagement. We spent the time until Carlos and Jane arrived talking about our plans for the future, with Audrey and I leaving out the fact that I was pregnant. I started to feel nauseous again, and I gave Audrey a pointed look before I excused myself to find a trash can to throw up in. When I returned, Carlos and Jane had arrived, which made the butterflies in my stomach start acting up again. "So, you said that you guys had news for us," Carlos said once I had sat back down beside Audrey. She took my hand and gave it a gentle squeeze to try to help me feel a little better. It helped a little bit, but not a whole lot. "Yeah. Um... well..." I said, looking at Audrey for support. "I'm pregnant," I said, smiling slightly. The others congratulated us, and asked me if the father was Harry Hook, and I told them that he was.

When we got back to our castle, all I really wanted to do was spend time with Audrey. She surprised me by ordering us dinner from my favorite restaurant, and we started talking about baby names, of all things. "I was thinking that if we have a baby girl, we could name her Mattea Audrey Rose," I said. "Aww! That is so cute!" Audrey said happily. "Do you have any ideas for a name if we have a baby boy?" I asked her. "What about Cyrus Jackson Rose?" She suggested. "I like it. I'm looking forward to meeting our little bundle of joy," I said, placing a hand on my flat stomach and grinning. Audrey put her hand on top of mine, making me smile and blush. "You're so cute when you blush," she said. "Thank you," I said. "No problem, babe," she replied.
