Time skip brought to you by Harry Hook's hook.

Synthia's P.O.V

I watched the snow fall outside of the window, wishing I could go out and enjoy it. Unfortunately, since I could have the baby any time now, Audrey wanted me to be careful and stay inside, so that I didn't slip and fall. Happily, I had Duna for company, and she didn't mind staying inside with me, since she's cold-blooded, and so she couldn't warm up very easily. We both heard a knock on the front door, and I moved to get up and answer it, but Duna stopped me. "No, you rest. I will get the door," she said, so I settled back into my chair.

Duna's P.O.V

I got up and answered the door so that Synthia didn't have to worry about it. When I opened the door, I found a familiar figure on the other side and grinned. "H-Hey, D-Duna," Uma said, shivering quite a bit. "Hey Uma. Come on in and warm up," I said, stepping aside so she could come in. "Sorry I didn't let you know I was coming. I was in a hurry and didn't think about it," she said. "Calm down. There is no need to explain yourself. I am glad that you are here," I said. "Can I ask you something?" She asked. "You just did, but sure," I said. "Why don't you use contractions? You know, like didn't, can't, won't, that sort of thing?" She asked. "I guess it never really crossed my mind to try using them," I said. "So what, is it just you today?" Uma asked me. "No. Synthia's here too. Audrey doesn't want her going outside this close to when the baby's due," I explained. "Oh. That makes sense," she said as we walked into the living room. "Hi Uma," Synthia said, moving to get up again. "Hold on, hold on, let me help you up," I said, rushing over and pulling her to her feet. "Dang girl, you're huge!" Uma said. "As if I needed reminding. I just want this to be over," she said, gesturing to her stomach. "I can see why," Uma said. Synthia went over and gave Uma a hug, also using her for a bit of support at the same time. "What brings you here?" Synthia asked Uma. "I wanted to come by for Christmas. If you'll have me, that is," Uma said. "Of course. You're welcome to stay here for as long as you want," Synthia said, then grimaced, holding her stomach. "You okay?" Uma asked, her voice laced with concern. In response, Synthia held up a finger to indicate that she needed a minute. "Sorry. Just another contraction. I've been getting them off and on for the past week or so," she explained.

Uma's P.O.V

I looked over at Duna, who seemed to understand what I wanted without me having to ask, and I turned to Synthia. "Would it be okay if I felt your stomach?" I asked somewhat awkwardly. "Sure, just be gentle," she replied, so I gently put my right hand on her stomach, and after a few minutes, I felt something nudge my hand. "That's adorable," I said with a smile. "It is. It really is," she replied. She smiled, but then the smile turned into a grimace, and she held her stomach again. "Duna... call Audrey. Like, now," she said, and Duna pulled out her phone and called Audrey while I helped Synthia sit down. "Hey Audrey, it's Duna. Yeah. Listen, you need to come home. Like right now. I think Synthia's going into labor," Duna explained over the phone. "She says she's on her way, and she'll be here in about five minutes," Duna said after she hung up.

Synthia's P.O.V

After several long hours, I gave birth to a healthy baby girl. "Mattea is just so cute!" Audrey said. She had yet to stop fawning over our new daughter, and I found it cute. "You are so cute sometimes, babe," I said. "Thanks. You were amazing, by the way. Throughout this whole journey," she replied, gently kissing my forehead. "Thank you, babe," I replied with a smile. I felt like taking a nap, but I was apprehensive about letting go of my newborn daughter. "Go ahead, take a nap. I can handle Mattea for a while," Audrey said, and I carefully handed Mattea to her as I drifted off to sleep.

Audrey's P.O.V

I had just laid Mattea down for a nap when I heard footsteps from the nursery, so I turned around and went back to check on her. When I got there, I caught a glimpse of something silver as it disappeared out of the window. I went to the window and saw a familiar figure sprinting off, Mattea in his arms. I couldn't do anything except watch him escape, since I was wearing heels, and I didn't want to hurt myself. I began to panic about how Synthia was going to react when she found out that Harry Hook had kidnapped our daughter. I fell against the wall and slid down it, covering my face with my hands just as Uma and Duna came around the corner and found me. "What's wrong, Audrey?" Duna asked softly. "He took her. Harry. He took Mattea," I replied, and I heard Uma growl. "He's going to pay for this, mark my words," Uma said angrily. "Calm down, my beloved. I know that what Harry did is completely unacceptable, but we need to at least come up with a plan to get Mattea back," Duna said, and Uma exhaled loudly. "Yeah, you're right. Thanks for talking some sense into me," she replied. "What's going on?" I heard Synthia ask. "Um... Harry kidnapped Mattea. There was nothing I could do. I'm sorry," I replied. "Look, you've got nothing to be sorry for, babe. Harry Hook is the one who should be sorry for taking our daughter from us," she said, putting an arm around my shoulders. "You're right, honey. I just wish I could've stopped him," I said. "I understand. We will get her back, I promise you that," she said, and I laid my head on her shoulder. I knew that we'd get Mattea back from Hook, and that thought helped me calm down.
