Synthia's P.O.V
Over the next few days, Audrey and I began to really get to know Duna, and we became close friends. She told us that she wasn't supposed to have been sent to the planet's surface for at least several hundred years, and she really wasn't sure what caused her to be sent early. We introduced her to our friends, who found her rather charming and sweet. I remembered that I had a picture of Uma from a few years ago, back when I was still friends with her, sitting on my dresser, and made a mental note to put it away before Duna saw it. "By the way, I believe that you left this out by accident, so I thought that I would return it to you," Duna said, holding out what looked to be a piece of paper. I took it from her, discovering that it was actually a picture, and I turned it over to find that it was the one I had on my dresser. "Thank you. I was meaning to put that away," I said. "If you do not mind me asking, who was the girl in the picture next to you?" She asked. "Just an old friend of mine. Her name's Uma. She's Ursula's daughter," I replied. "She is quite pretty," Duna commented. "Yeah, but she almost killed me and Ben a little while ago, and she hasn't been seen since," I said. "Oh. I see," Duna said, and I almost thought that I heard a hint of sadness in her voice.
Over the course of the ensuing two weeks, I walked in on Duna on more than one occasion, studying the picture of Uma and me. Occasionally, she would gently touch the side of the picture with Uma on it and gently move her thumb across her. I decided not to ask her about it, but she came to me one day with the picture in her hand. "May I speak with you for a bit, privately?" She asked. "Sure. Let's go to the garden," I said, leading her to the large garden that Audrey and I had been working on ever since we got our castle. "I am feeling things that I am not familiar with," she said. "Maybe I can help you out," I offered. "I would appreciate that," she said. "So, what kind of feelings are you having?" I asked her. "Well, each time I look at this picture, and I focus on Uma, it makes me feel warm and tingly inside. My heart starts beating a bit quicker as well," she said. "Sounds to me like you're in love," I said. "I see. Thank you for telling me what I am feeling. There is one other thing, though," she said. "And that is?" I asked. "The past few nights, I have thought that I have seen someone investigating the area where I landed, as if whoever it was is looking for something," she said. "Could you tell anything about their appearance?" I asked, and she said something that made me feel strange.
"It looked just like Uma. She has a pretty well-defined figure, and I even thought I saw some hints of teal when the moonlight shone on the person," she said. She told me that she planned to hide near the area that night, and when she saw whoever it was, she would reveal herself to them.
Duna's P.O.V
I stood behind a tree near where I landed, waiting patiently for the mysterious person to show up. When they did, I stepped out from behind the tree, startling them. When they turned to run, I became desperate. "Uma, wait!" I shouted, and the figure froze, then turned around to face me. "How do you know my name?" She asked. "I found a picture of you and one of your old friends, who told me a little bit about you," I said. "Well, I must admit, when I heard that there was an alien in Auradon, I wasn't expecting one so beautiful," she said, stepping into the pale moonlight so I could see her a little better. Her hair was a darker shade of teal than it was in the picture, and she wore a tricorn pirate hat. "So, since you know my name, what's yours?" She asked. "I am Duna Nichs," I said, then explained to her about dinaurians in the same way as I had to everyone else I had met. "Huh. Well, I for one am glad that you were sent here several hundred years early so I could meet you. Did I tell you that you're beautiful?" She asked. "Yes, you did. But I would not mind hearing it again," I said, and she smiled. "Okay. You're beautiful," she said, and I blushed a soft shade of lavender. "I think that you are beautiful as well," I told her, and it was her turn to blush. "Well, I wish I could talk longer, but I have a feeling that Audrey and Synthia are going to be coming out here any time now. We can talk a little more tomorrow night, though. There's a lot more that I'd like to know about you. Meet me by the eastern shore between here and Wonderland tomorrow night," she said, and then she was gone.
After dinner the next day, I told Audrey and Synthia that I was going for a walk on the beach, and I did not know when I would be back. With that, I made my way to the beach to wait for Uma to show up. When I saw her rise from the water, I was taken aback by her presence, and I did not even notice her shift from her giant octopus form to her normal human form. "I had no idea you could do something like that," I said. "Yeah. My mother's necklace allows me to shape-shift into just about any sea creature that I can think of," she said. "Now i am jealous, since I can only transform into one kind of dinosaur and back again," I said with a bit of a pout. "Hey, don't feel jealous. You have something that I'll never have: the ability to naturally transform into something without using magic," she said, but I did not feel any better. "Duna, I didn't mean to make you upset or anything. I'm sorry for whatever I said to make you feel sad, and I don't usually apologize for anything," she said, but I still felt sad. That is, until she did something that took me by surprise. She pulled me into an embrace, then pressed her lips against mine, and I melted into the sensation, holding her close to me. When we separated, I was out of breath from the experience. "Feel better now?" She asked. "Y-Yes. That was actually the best experience of my life so far," I said. We started openly talking about ourselves to get to know each other better, and we spent most of the night together, just simply talking.

Just to make things less confusing, Audrey and Synthia's castle is directly east of Honeymoon Cottage in Auradon, according to the map below. I haven't come up with a name for their castle yet, though, so feel free to comment with ideas for that.
Until next time!
