Haley's POV

Urg. She is such a....

"Hey Babe, U coming?" Niall shouted

I poured the popcorn in the bowl and walked back into the living room. Reentering the circle.

"Awe Hales. Thanks for making popcorn." Lindsay said with a fake smile.

"Yupppp..." I replied with no expression

"Ok on with the game." Louis said in a mischievous way.

"Ok Lindsay truth or dare?"

"Erm Dare." she stated

"I dare you to kiss...Niall." Louis said

I started to tense. I can't believe Louis. I look over at Lexy who had the same expression as Eleanor. They froze not knowing what to do. I saw Niall blush. Lindsay leaned in. Then turned to me.

"It's ok right Hales? We're only friends." she smiled

I wanted to claw her. Like rip her eyes out of her socket.

"Um..." I said trying to sound casual

Niall spoke, "Um...yeah we're just friends."

What?! He's actually gonna let her do it.

"Well, I-" before I finished my thought she grabbed his head and kissed him. Right in front of me was MY boyfriend and his ex-who hates me by the way-kissing. Greaaaaat.

"Um...I think-" I started but my voice cracked.

Zayn looked up at me and saw I was about to cry.

"Guys, that's good." Zayn spoke giving me an apologetic smile.

They pulled apart and Niall was as red as a tomato. Lindsay just smiled.

"Alrighty...Um..." Liam tried to lighten the mood.

"Uh I don't feel like playing anymore." I got up and walked upstairs.

"Haley," I heard Niall call. He caught up with me.

"It was just a silly dare. Don't worry." he explained

"Yeah...I know... um I'm just bored. I'm gonna...uh...do something. " I said

"Are you ok?" he asked seriously

"Yeah. I'm fine. You should probably go back down and hang out with Lindsay."

He wasn't convinced but he nodded and obeyed. I walked into my room and took out my guitar. I haven't played in awhile.

I started playing and singing. After I finished I heard a clap. I spun around and saw Zayn at the door.

"Oh hey, I didn't see you there." I said a little embarrassed.

"That was great." he said

I haven't really sang in front of the boys before.

"Thanks, anyways why are you her?" I asked

"Erm...I just wanted to see if you were ok."

I nodded.

"Oh come on. I know you're lying. Tell me what's wrong."

I told him about Lindsay. Everything. It felt good to tell someone. I couldn't keep it inside.

Zayn stood up.

"Where are you going?" I asked

"To tell Niall."

I stopped him. "No! don't. He won't believe me and plus that's his "best friend"." I started crying.

Zayn nodded and walked over to me giving me a hug. "I'm sorry. I just want to help."

"I know Zayn but if you say something then he'll ask her and she'll deny it and make up something about me. It's best if we don't." I cried into his chest.

"I know. I know. But if she hurts you then I'm telling Niall."

We stood in the middle of my room like that. I heard a creak and looked through the door.

"We should probably go downstairs and see what everyone's doing."

I nodded. "Ok."

"Hey stay by me and stay away from Lindsay." Zayn said

I followed him downstairs and saw that everyone was done playing the game.

"Hey Hales. Where were you?" asked Eleanor

"Um...just hanging with Zayn." I said

I looked at Niall who sat next to Lindsay. She smirked. Did I mention how much I hate her.

Zayn heard his name. "Vas happening?"

We all laughed and decided to watch a movie. Sinister. After I made some more popcorn. I walked out and saw a spot next to Niall. He patted the spot wanting me to sit by him. I smiled and just as I began to walk to the seat Lindsay sat down. She hugged Niall.

"Thanks Nialler. Just like our old movie nights." Niall smiled but it faded as he saw me take a seat next to Zayn. On the opposite end of the couch.

"Shut up. The movies starting." Harry shouted.

We all payed attention to the movie. In the middle of the movie Lindsay got up to refill her drink. When she came back she "accidentally" tripped pouring-ounce again- her drink all over me. Everyone watched.

"OMG. I'm soooo sorry Haley." She said fakely.

I took a breath and gave her the fakest smile in the world. "It's fine."

She smirked one last time before sitting next to Niall. Zayn caught the smirk she gave me and whispered in my ear.

"Aids." I smiled and we both cracked up.

Everyone stared at us.

"What's so funny?" Harry asked

"Nothing." we both said at the same time.
