It's been four years. Louis still can't handle being a vampire, which is unfortunate. It's been 10 years since I became a vampire. It's been really great.
Lestat and I's relationship is still going strong. However, our relationship with Louis has shifted from a platonic relationship to a romantic one. We both had that talk that we didn't mind having more than one partner. Lestat and I communicated that we fell in love with Louis, as did he. So now, the three of us are together.
Right now, Lestat was with two prostitutes. Louis and I stood on the balcony listening to the girls laughing and giggling. A burning jealousy kept on plaguing me. I know this is Lestat's job, but I still get jealous every time.
I stared at them and watched as Lestat flirted with them. I noticed one girl was unconscious, so he no doubt drank her blood already. The more I watched, the more agony I was in.
"Pay no mind, Charlotte." Louis muttered. "I can't help it. It tears me up watching him do that. Everything that he does with me, he does to the girls. I know he has to, but it still drives me crazy." I explained. Louis nodded in understanding.
After a few minutes, Louis and I walked in and heard the remaining girl exclaiming in fear. I have no idea what just occurred. Lestat walked over to her with a glass that he heated up in a candle. He bit her wrist, placing the glass under it as blood poured out. I noticed that the front of her dress was bloody, leading up to her boob. He must've bit it.
"For you, Louis. You can pretend it's wine." Lestat said, holding out the glass. Louis looked at it for a moment and walked away. I shrugged and took a sip out of it. I noticed the blood tasted exactly like how the evildoers' blood would taste. I've only tried blood of innocent people only a few times when Lestat would kiss me with his mouth bloody. I noticed the differences. I looked at Lestat for a moment in confusion.
"These girls drug the men they get with and rob them."
I widened my eyes. So they were evil. That's why her blood tasted better.
I watched as Louis and Lestat argued, with Louis tossing the glass filled with blood on the floor. Lestat kept trying to make Louis drink her blood, to which he refused.
Lestat went to the girl and kicked open the table, which was actually a coffin. He picked the girl up bridal style and threw her inside the coffin.
"It's a coffin! A coffin let me out!" She cried out as Lestat closed it. He jumped on top of it.
"It's your coffin, my love. Enjoy it. Most of us never get to know what it feels like." Lestat taunted. Louis threw away the stuff in front of the mirror in anger. "Why do you do this?" Louis asked angrily.
"I like to do this. I enjoy it. Take your aesthete's taste to purer things, kill them swiftly if you will, but do it. For do not doubt, you are a killer, Louis!" Lestat shouted. He threw open the coffin and stared at Louis, angrily.
"What's that, my love?" Lestat asked, bending down to her level. "It's a coffin." She cried. "Well so it is. You must be dead." Lestat taunted again. "I'm not dead, am I?" She asked in shock. "No. No you're not dead." Louis answered. "Not yet." Lestat mumbled.
"You finish this, you finish this now!" Louis yelled. "You finish it." Lestat countered. The girl fell forward and Louis caught her. She held onto his hand. "Let me go. I cannot die like this. I need a priest!" She cried. I wanted to scoff right then and there, considering she had committed sins with the men her and her friend robbed.
"My friend is a priest. He'll hear your sins before you die. Unless, you make her one of us." Lestat uttered. "No!" Louis yelled. "Take her, Louis! End her suffering! End yours!" Lestat yelled. "Louis, we have to do this! It's what we do!" I exclaimed, having enough of this.
"No." Louis mumbled, letting go of the girl. Lestat glared at him. I quickly grabbed the girl and drank her blood, having enough. I felt kind of bad for her even though she was evil. She was dead shortly enough.
I stood up and walked to the couch. "Now, are you happy Louis?" I asked, sitting down. Lestat sat down beside me. "My God. Just thank you, for all I have to learn from." Louis whispered.
"In the old world, they call it the dark gift. And I gave it to you." Lestat whispered. Louis didn't stay long to hear that. He walked away, leaving into the dark, rainy night. I sighed.
"How long is this going to take? When will he finally accept being a vampire?" I wondered aloud. "I don't know, my love. But this isn't going well at all." Lestat replied. I sighed again, laying my head on his lap as he played with my hair.
"Oh and by the way, I heard your thoughts. I know you get jealous when I'm with these girls. But don't worry, mon chérie. I only love you. That's it." Lestat whispered. I smiled so brightly and looked up at him. "And Louis?" I asked. "And Louis when he's not a pain in the ass." Lestat jokes. I laughed out loud and cuddled more into his lap. This is life.
(I lowkey wanted to be the girl when Lestat was with her. XD I hope you guys enjoyed this! Stay tuned for more)!
