(Gonna be heartwarming in this one guys! I hope you guys will enjoy this)!
Life with Claudia has been wonderful indeed. We've just moved to a new place. Lestat has continuously been spoiling Claudia. He's also taught her the ways of vampires, as Louis and I sat back and watched.
Claudia was getting her dress made now, and her seamstress was complaining about not having enough light so Lestat, Louis, and I fetched more light. When we came back, her seamstress was in her arms.
"Claudia! Claudia!" Lestat exclaimed as Claudia let the seamstress go. "We were gone for five minutes!" I exclaimed.
"Now, who will we get to finish your dress? A little practicality, chérie. Remember, never in our home!" Lestat scolded as he gently slapped the back of her hand as Louis and I watched.
Lestat and Claudia killed together occasionally, as Louis and I sat back. I was glad that they were spending time together. Louis and Claudia usually spend time together when she sleeps in his coffin in the mornings. She didn't spend time with me, which honestly hurt.
I sat next to Lestat and I's coffin, feeling upset. They had a great bond with her and I didn't have any. I felt left out.
"What's wrong, mon trésor?" Lestat asked, seeing my sad face. He sat in front of me and made me look up at him. He rubbed my cheeks with his thumbs, making me smile.
"There's that beautiful smile. Now, tell me what's wrong?" Lestat asked again, pulling me to him, my back on his chest as he played with my hair.
"I just feel left out, chérie. Claudia always spends time with you both but she never wants to be with me. Every time I try, she's either with you or Louis and I don't want to be a bother. I just feel like she doesn't like me." I explained, tearing up a little.
"Mon amour, she doesn't hate you. She's in her room now. Go spend time with her." Lestat said. "Is she with Louis?" I asked. "No." He answered. I nodded and stood up, heading to Claudia's room. I just hoped that it wasn't true and it was just my mind lying to me.
I opened the door a crack and looked in. "Hello petite poupée. How are you?" I asked in a sweet voice. Claudia looked up and smiled. A bright and sweet smile that looks absolutely adorable and beautiful. "I'm playing with my dolls! Want to join?" She asked.
I smiled brightly and nodded excitedly, making my way over. I sat down in front of her and she handed me a doll. We began to play with them and had a great time. I always saw myself having a daughter. A daughter who I could play with and just love her forever. Of course I'd feel the same if I had a son. I just pictured having a daughter.
As we were playing, I saw Lestat and Louis by the door at the corner of my eye. I turned around and giggled seeing them. "Look at our girls, Louis. They're having such a great time." Lestat muttered. Claudia took me by surprise and hugged me tight. I almost teared up. I looked over at Lestat.
"I told you she doesn't hate you, love."
"You were right, darling."
I felt happy to know that what I was thinking wasn't true, and Claudia did in fact love me like how she loved Lestat and Louis.
(Heartwarming wasn't it? I hope you guys enjoyed this! See you on Friday)!
