It's been six years since everything. Lestat and I are still going strong, which I am proud of. It took all of the people that know me awhile to fully deal with the fact that I moved on so quickly.

However, for the past six years, death has been all over. And it was mine and Lestat's doing. The population is slowly dwindling down because of us. Nobody has suspected a thing. Nobody thinks it's me or Lestat.

I'm supposed to be 26 right now. Well, I am, but not physically. Only mentally. I'll always have the body of a 20-year-old while my mind ages. Lestat also has the body of a 20-year-old, since that was the age he was turned. However, he is supposed to be 31 currently.

It's been getting quite boring really, continuing to hunt here. Lestat seemed to agree. "We should try to hunt somewhere else. Like in a different country or something. But where?" I wondered aloud. It was silent as we thought about where to go. "New Orleans?" Lestat said. I looked at him and smiled, knowing that was a great idea. I don't know why but I thought that was perfect.

We began to prepare our things to leave. I went downstairs to tell Manon our plans. "Manon, Lestat and I will be leaving soon to New Orleans. Will you be alright here on your own?" I asked. I was worried about her. She's been having to deal with me for 8 years. "Yes madame. I'll be alright." She answered. I nodded. "Where will you go?" I asked, worriedly. "I met someone recently so I may stay with him." Manon replied. "I'm glad!" I exclaimed. I was happy that she finally met someone and would be in good hands when I left.

Lestat and I decided to go for our last hunts in Paris. We managed to catch a lot of victims throughout the next few days. I stuck to my promise and only killed horrible people. I killed about five people each night, which felt nice considering they would no longer be wreaking havoc on innocent civilians, mostly young women.

Finally, it was time to leave. It was upsetting, saying goodbye to Manon. But I knew she'd be in good hands. I knew that everyone here would know that Lestat and I were part of those deaths after our departure, since they would for sure end when we left. But I didn't care. We wouldn't be returning.

I was excited to see what life would be like in New Orleans. I wonder what joys will await us.

(They are moving to New Orleans! I bet you guys can guess what is gonna happen now. I hope you guys enjoyed! See you on Monday)!
