Chapter 7

20 minutes later
In front of the fire house
Gabby was waiting outside for Sylvie to arrive. When Gabby saw Sylvie's car she waved. Sylvie first got out of the car then she pulled Emily out of the car and fixes her jacket and gloves. Sylvie gave Emily to Gabby. Sylvie grabbed Emily's car seat and bookbag before closing and locking the door. Gabby told Sylvie that she had to go get her keys so they both walked in the firehouse. First squad asked who's baby then truck. Gabby got in the center of everyone and said this is Emily Sylvie's daughter and she's two years old. Gabby also mentioned that she would be babysitting Emliy while Sylvie was at work. Casey asked Gabby if he could hold Emily. Gabby passed her over and then her and Sylvie went to the locker room so Gabby could grab her keys. When they got back all the firefighters were playing with Emily even chief was having a good time with her. Sylvie and Gabby went to go put the car seat and baby bag into Gabby's car and then Sylvie started talking about how her ex had another wife before her and they had a son. Sylvie said that her ex wanted Emily and Gavin to still see each other. Gabby said that it would all work out before walking back into the locker room and getting her other clothes on like everyone else about to leave for shift. Casey helped Gabby put Emily in the car and then wrapped her in a hug and gave her a long passionate kiss before sending Gabby off.

At the bar
Matt's POV
The guys and I were all partying at Molly's. Some guys were close to bring drunk but didn't really care because they knew they had not shift tomorrow. The guys all gave one cheer to Casey not being single anymore.
