Chapter 71

First call of the day
Casey's pov
We were all sitting around when the first alarm of the day sounded.
All units available fire at Mesopotamia Mall.
We all ran to our trucks and ambo.
Mesopotamia Mall
Severide's pov
When we were at the scene there were so many people rushing in and out of the mall. Chief told us to set up triage and start making everything more organized. About four hours later CPD arrived asking us questions we told them when all the units were cleared we could walk in.
Casey's Pov
Antonio, Halstead, Voight, Severide, and I all walked to the second floor.
Outside
Gabby's Pov
I was at triage working on a victim when this lady came over to me crying.
Lady: Please help me find my son when the explosion happened I got seperated from him and they wony let me go back in.
Gabby: Ma'am there is a lot of people out here your son is probably what about we go look for him.
The lady followed behind me as we went to look for her son.
Back inside
Casey's pov
Severide and I both started to search the remaining stores for any people or evidence of an explosive. I headed inti Game Stop checking each row. I was on the last row when I saw a foot under one of the shelves that has fallen. I walkied in Severide asking for assistance.
Casey- Severide I need yoyr help game stop last row.
Severide's pov
When i reached Casey i saw him trying to lift the shelf off of the person . I helped him remove the shelf and then we grabbed the human which was a 6 or 7 year old kid. We called in Gabby and Chili
