Chapter 17

Garcia's baby shower
Garcia's POV
Today was a great day it was my baby shower. Luke and his parents had come and even my parents came. The whole firehouse 51 and intelligence was there and their families. Garçon and I even invited some of our closest friends. The day was fun we played games, hung out, ate good food, and opened presents. The best present was Luke and his parents and my parents staying for awhile when the babies came and at the baby shower we decided on two great names Logan and Layla.
Three weeks later
In the hospital
Garcia's POV
The doctor said I was only 4 centimeters dialated. I felt like I was in the hospital forever. My parents came to visit and Antonio came but Gabby and Casey had to wait until after shift to come to the Hospital. Luke had even came and Garçon. When it was just us three Luke and I had both answered Garçon's question about how it feels to become parents and how does living far away from.each other effect our parenting and relationship. I didn't think of any of that. Luke said when Gabby and Casey found a bigger house he would be able to move down here. Garcia, Garçon, and Luke had a group hug.
After shift
Matt's POV
Today was a busy day at work from toxics to trying to help this guy who pretty much burned his own hand in the oven and it was getting even more hected from Garcia about to have her twins and I still wanted to propose to Gabby before the end of the night.When we arrived at the Hospital we asked which room and headed straight up to the room. Gabby ran to Garcia to give her hug and then gave her mom a hug. The only one that was in her room was Garcia and Gabby's mom. I greeted Gabby's mom before going to the waiting room with the others. When I got in the waiting room I decided to take a seat between Antonio and his dad. When I sat down I told everyone about my plan of proposing to Gabby. Her dad said that he would love to help me get everything prepared. After about two hours of waiting Gabby came in the room and said that Garcia had just hit 7 centimeters. I jumped up and have Gabby a hug and kiss on the cheek. Then I sent the whole house 51 a update on Garcia because that was her family to. The text started to come in really fast they all wanted to come and see the twins. I told them when she had the babies I'd text them. This time it was Gabby's mom and she looked at us and said who's ready to send Garcia off to deliver the twins. We all went to go see Garcia get sent off when I saw Gabby she was putting on her scrubs. She actually looked really sexy in her scrubs.
In the surgical room
Gabby's POV
As Garcia prepared to give natural birth to both of her twins I stood right beside her. When the doctor was ready he told Garcia to push after 4 pushes Logan Hovier Wellston(Luke's last name) Dawson had entered the world before taking the baby off to be cleaned and checked then showed us him he was not big but a nice size. Then the doctor told her to push again after about 10 pushes Layla Sinclair Wellston Dawson had arrived on this world. When both of the babies were cleaned up they let me hold them. Garcia was exhausted but she still got to see her twins. After awhile the nurse asked if I would like to go show my families the twins. Before I did anything I made sure Garcia was going to be okay. When she nodded her head I took both of the twins and walked to the waiting room.
Waiting Room
Antonio's POV
When I saw Gabby coming down the ha with the twins I told everyone one to turn around. My mom went to open the door for Gabby. It was official I was am uncle. The first thing I did was push Luke over to Gabby he held both of them at the same time we took some pictures before anyone else hold them. Then the nurse had told us that Garcia was back in her room and that we could visit her. I had Logan and Matt had Layla. We all walked to Garcia's room she looked so worn out I ran over to her and told her good job before letting everyone one else greet
her.
Matt's POV
I had placed Layla in her container. Then after that my phone started yo buzz I texted firehouse 51 telling them I was an uncle and when they got here to wait in the main waiting room and that I would come and get them. When they arrived nodded to all the guys in the room they all came with me I explained to firehouse 51 in about five minutes my idea to proposing to Gabby. Sylvie came late but still managed to help. When firehouse 51 walked in and Antonio, Luke's dad, Gabby's dad, Luke and Garçon they were all in this circle with me in the inside. I heard Gabby say where I'd Matt. That is when I knew it was time I got down on one knee athe guys moved out they way until I was revealed I then asked Gabby if she would marry me she said yes. I saw how happy Garcia was when I kept to my promise which was get engaged to her sister with all the close family here.
