Cindy's POV

"... Do the things he loves and lastly don't forget to dress up for him... Something sexy would be best". I raised my head from the book on "How to make a marriage work" which I saw online.
Ever since I wanted to take Diana's husband because I was jealous of the way he treated her I felt guilty, I was never like this if not for the lack of attention and affection I was getting from Ken.

Now I have to build my own home and not just watch it crumble. I know I've been trying but I'll work harder for the sake of my marriage. I've been married for four years and a half with no child to show for it...
I paused to take a look at myself in the side mirror. I wasn't old at all but definitely not in my youth. I was still pretty of course, I knew I was beautiful but taking a good look at my hair, my reading glasses and the flowing long gown, no one would actually believe I was younger than I looked. I was in a very conserved dress which doesn't even show anything. For a second there I laughed...

Who the freaking hell would spare me a glance looking like this?

I sighed... I loosened my hair from the messy bun and hair pins. I was a natural blond but due to lack of care it was... Well... A disaster .

I tried running a brush through it but, that was a battle on its own, I haven't even been taking good care of myself.
I walked to my wardrobe and only found flowing gowns. I face palmed myself, it was as if I just realized what was actually going on in my life. I threw them all out and without changing I took my car keys and credit card and left the house.

5mins later...
I drove to a beauty salon, as I stepped out and walked in...
"Good day ma'am, how may we help you?"
"I'd like to have a make over"
"Very well ma'am, this way" she said and led me inside. Long story short.. I passed through a lot of processes, both the spa, waxing, massage... It was exhausting but fun. I had my nails done, my hair...I was given a skin care routine and when they were done, I couldn't believe the person staring back at me in the mirror... It was as if I got 2years younger!! I couldn't help but smile as I got up to leave after paying my bills. I got a lot of stares from people causing me to smile. I feel so refreshed like I did before getting married. Just one last touch... I arrived at the boutique and got a lot of hot looking outfits for staying at home and decent but classy outfits for events. I got changed in the lady's room and as I stepped out, a lot of attention was on me but I didn't mind as I walked out only for a certain guy to bump into me.
"Oh, I'm so sorry" he apologized with his head bent low only to freeze when he looked up at me. Seriously... What's his problem?
"It's ok"
"Wow!" Was all he said as he stared at me.
"Could you please excuse me?" I asked getting impatient.
"I'm so sorry but you look so beautiful" I was thrilled, maybe because no one has called me beautiful in a long time
"Can I get your number?"
"And if I don't give you?"
He held his chest like someone who just got hurt.
"Ouch.. even if you're married, at least let me be in touch with you. Pretty please"
"Well for starters I'm married" I said raising my finger to reveal my wedding band.
"But sure why not since you asked politely" I said and gave him my digits before walking out and drove off.

As I stepped into the house I saw my husband seated on the couch with his laptop, as I closed the door behind me, then came his voice...
"Where are you coming from?" From his tone one can guess that he's not happy but also non chalant about it. In the softest voice I could muster, I spoke up, putting what I read online in practice.
"I'm sorry baby, I went to get some stuff" I said and immediately he turned...

Ken's POV

I turned immediately I heard her call me baby. That was what she called me when we were younger and every word she said sounded like honey in my ears and when I turned to look at her, I got the greatest shock of my life!

Right in front of me was a young and beautiful woman I've never seen and in that moment my heart skipped a beat...

It was something that hasn't happened to me in a long time. Don't get me wrong, I've always loved my wife and she knows right? It's just that I've got a lot of work to handle and don't really have time... But right now I don't even know what to say... I can't even get mad at her, I was just not happy when I didn't see her around.
"Are you mad baby?" Heart attack! I could die if I heard her call me that again... But I'll die happy
"N... No... No.. I'm not mad at all.. why would I be?" I said stammering in-between words.
"Ok baby" she said with a smile and turned to walk up the stairs while I held my chest as my heart was fluttering but with every step she took my heart skipped a beat. She was in a sleeveless black top and a really short...mini skirt that exposed her incredibly long smooth legs. Her beautiful long wavey blond hair fell to her waist and bounced as she walked. She looks so beautiful... Then a smile played on my lips. 'That's my wife' I thought.  I looked at my laptop and lost every interest in it, now I just want to see my wife.
