After that, things moved fast for all of you. The phone ringing became too much for you and Jungkook to handle by yourselves and Namjoon suggested that you hire Emily as a secretary. It was immediately shot down by JK and Yoongi, but Hoseok found an actual secretary to help you out not too long after that.
In the months that followed it, became quickly apparent that you were going to need actual business offices. The requests for additional ideas on the software began to roll in as Yoongi and Namjoon's studio tour began to show fruit. Something that kept Hoseok very busy, as he tried to figure out the ins and outs of a software company and how it could legally be distributed through online channels.
Jimin and Taehyung were being actively pursued by major record labels at this point and Yoongi and Jin had their hands full day and night trying to fend them off. Until Namjoon suggested that as part of JinHit perhaps record producing was going to have to be also under the Bangtan umbrella.
When Jin pointed out that none of them knew anything about releasing and producing records Yoongi pointed out what should have been obvious months ago.
It was time to hire.
In January of that year, you moved into your first office complex, down near Cupertino, in amongst similar software company neighbors. You had financed it through the continued growing investment account that Namjoon had created. Though after your master's degree finished, you had discussed with Mr. Bleyzac any additional terms from your parents. Only to discover that they were willing to switch from paying your tuition to paying you some sort of living allowance.
Mr. Bleyzac decided that was acceptable to him and he picked a number he thought you would be happy with, one that Yoongi agreed with. It was just as much as the allowance for your textbooks which was more then you needed to live annually anyway. You had only spoken to your mother via e-mail for the last five years and for the last year it had only been communication through Mr Bleyzac. However, after your master's degree there were no more conditions on staying inside the United States and so for the first time in nearly six years you were able to make it home to visit your Eomma and Appa for more than just a long weekend.
When you came home without Namjoon it was not nearly as awkward as you had thought it might be. You got to spend some time with Eunji who was on her way to her last year in high school before you spent the day hanging out with your Eomma in the kitchen. She had asked some questions about Namjoon, but something in your tone must have told her something wasn't right, and she very quickly left it alone. So did your Appa and little sister. It didn't occur to you until years later, that maybe someone else had said something to them before you got there.
You owed Jin a Thank you for that...
When you got back to California it was to a new set of turmoil.
The new office complex was only about half an hour from the Victorian, but Namjoon quickly decided that it was too far to drive every day and he began looking for a house of his own in Santa Clara nearby. Eventually he located a small house that was only a one bedroom for now. None of you were quite sure what to make of that. Namjoon seemed to want to make the move because he was tired of the traffic, but Emily took every opportunity to let people know that she was excited about their new house. Especially, any opportunity when you were in the room and Namjoon wasn't.
The initial release of the RMBase software had gone well and was still continuing to grow, so you weren't too concerned about whether or not he had the funds to buy his own place. That didn't mean it wasn't very upsetting the day you walked into the Victorian and realized that the downstairs apartment was empty.
After that you, Yoongi, and Jungkook had a very long discussion about what to do with the house. It made sense for Taehyung and Jimin to move more permanently into an apartment in Los Angeles since they spent 99% of their time down there.
