You desperately wanted to surface from the memories that bombarded you now. The memories of those first few confusing and frantic hours where no one knew what was going on, but everything was bad. You didn't learn until much later that Yoongi and Jin had moved Namjoon to the hospital where he was taken directly into the emergency room.
Jin had paced the floor while Yoongi had filled out all the information necessary to the hospital. Eventually a doctor had come out to talk to both of them and let them know that they were going to move Namjoon up to one of the treatment floors now that he was stabilized.
"It's not an overdose, but it's very close." said the doctor. "But I agree with your in-house physician's original assessment Mr. Kim. "I don't think CEO Kim was taking this drug willingly. There are marks on his arms that indicate he tried to fight at the injection site."
Yoongi's head was a mess. He would tell you later that it never occurred to him that this wasn't something Namjoon hadn't done to himself, and it took a long time to get rid of the anger that he felt about finding Joon like that.
Which meant it was Jin who had to make the decision to allow Namjoon to be put into a medical coma to allow time for recovery from the drug.
That news didn't get to you or rather it didn't get through to you for nearly a week. When Hoseok brought Jimin and Taehyung back to the house, it was with the instructions to be on guard, but to watch out for what you needed.
In the meantime, Hoseok had taken Jungkook back over to your house. The car in the driveway was gone but your house had been ransacked, and Jungkook was angry.
"This doesn't make any sense," he said over and over. JK fought with your security system to get the cameras to work and eventually realized that none of the cameras in the house had been working after the two of you had left for the party.
Hoseok noted that everything that had been left in the closet room from Jimin and Taehyung. The gifts had been worth quite a bit of money. The Chanel and Dior boxes were easy for anyone to recognize and take.
"Hell, the shit is still in the giftbags," Hobi said pointing it out to Jungkook. "I think it's also all still in this room. If they took anything at all, I can't tell but they trashed Livie's room. It's a crazy mess of glass and clothes in there," said Hoseok. It made Jungkook growl in anger.
"Then if it was deliberate an attack on Livie, we need to get back Hyung," Jungkook said to Hoseok who agreed.
Ffteen minutes after arriving at the house, the Sheriff's officer showed up to meet with Jungkook.
"What's missing," asked the officer and both Jungkook and Hoseok shook their heads.
"That's just it officer. Nothing so far. We have her work laptop with us because we had another project to work on after the party it's still in my car," said Jungkook.
"Her personal laptop seems to be here though I can't tell for sure. Her phone and wallet were with her at the party," said Hoseok and the police officer nodded.
"Gentlemen, I hate to say this, but if nothing was taken, we can be concerned but we can't act on anything," explained the officer. Hoseok frowned, then began to lay out the rest of the events of the evening, between your arrest for trespassing and Namjoon's medical emergency. The officer looked quite a bit more intrigued at that information but agreed to give Hoseok a time to come in on Monday.
"Take care of your family first if there's no immediate danger," he said to Hoseok Then turning to Jungkook the officer spoke again.
"Take pictures before you leave but then I'd get somebody over here to fix the door. Just make sure all the windows are still locked and that they didn't leave themselves another opening to come back later." Jungkook nodded in agreement and thanked the man.
