When you went back to work after the week off, there was a palpable change in the atmosphere of the main office building. You tried to figure out what it was, but there were new faces in the building and none of them seemed to know who you were. Instead, you worked with your own staff and Jungkook's and tried to avoid the executive suite as much as possible.

Hoseok thought this was a stupid idea and spared your feelings no expense the next time he found you working at a random cubicle on the main floor

"Livie, what the actual fuck are you doing out here," he asked you quite loudly, to the surprise of the people in the surrounding cubes.

"I am working Jung Hoseok-nim. That's what we do in this company. We work," you said with a smirk except it just made him frown even more.

"Right. So, when you own the company, usually you work in a different spot," he said with a smirk of his own.

The conversation would have been left there but a passing team member caught Hoseok's words and frowned.

"Dude, I don't think you should be saying that about random people. The boss is going to get really bothered by that."

You and Hoseok turned to each other and then turned to face the team member. He was a younger man, and you didn't remember hiring him but there were many faces these days that you didn't remember hiring.

"I'm sorry could you say that again," asked Hoseok politely and the kid had shrugged.

"Yeah, I mean you can't just say random people are the boss. She's gonna get really pissy about that," the kid had answered and the two of you had been lost.

Hoseok looked down at you.

You shrugged. You had no idea who this kid was, and you had no idea what he was talking about.

"Why would the boss get angry about that sort of talk? It's a good idea for people to want to climb the corporate ladder and she will retire someday," asked Hoseok and you admired Hoseok in his sneaky attorney form. Always asking leading questions to get people to answer things they didn't want to but felt compelled to share with him because he seemed so friendly.

Around you, your own team had gathered close caught by the unusual sight of Hoseok at your desk on the floor. Meanwhile others had gathered behind the young man who spoke.

"Miss Emily would be really upset to think that people don't think she's a good boss," he explained to your shock.

You blinked but before you or Hoseok could act, one of your team behind you stood up. Mike Peppers had been one of the very first people you had hired as a developer. He was older than you but reminded you a little bit of your Appa and had a head for numbers like no one else you'd ever met besides Namjoon. Now he looked at the kid in front of him and shook his head.

"Emily Benedict is not the boss of Bangtan. Where did you hear that?"

With your entire team behind you shaking their heads no, the kid looked a little confused.

"It's on her business card," he explained, then dug in his wallet and offered a card to show. "She gave it to me when she hired me," he informed you. You sat in shock and waited for Hoseok to collect the card from the kid. You thanked the young man and looked over Hoseok's shoulder.

Sure enough, the card said exactly what the kid had said.

Emily Benedict, President Bangtan Corporation

You blinked in shock and Hoseok turned to pass it around to the rest of your team, before he looked down at you. You had never seen Hoseok quite so angry before.
