Your brothers pounced on Namjoon as soon as you set foot into the house and headed off to your Appa's office. You watched until Namjoon turned his head around once and grinned at you before you turned to your Eomma, who was laughing silently.

"Boys," she said and took your hand to bring you into the kitchen. You chuckled with her, knowing that she included your Appa in her rather sweeping statement. As you sat down at the table, Eomma bustled around the kitchen and brought her tea set to the table.

"Namjoon-ah couldn't tell us much Olivia, but it did sound like you've had a rather unpleasant morning," she asked hesitantly as she set the cups down in front of you.

You bit your lip hard in an attempt to hold back the tears that wanted to form, but your Eomma shook her head. Rising again, she took both teacups.

"Come," she said and obediently, you followed with the rest of the tea tray. Eomma walked through the house and out to the back garden, where she set the tea down on a little table, then carried that so it was next to the little garden bench. She sat on the bench, and you set the tray on the table and sat down next to her.

"Livie," she asked softly, but you just shook your head and sat stiff. Where to even begin telling your Eomma about the mess that had been this morning.

Your Eomma took your hand in hers and then turned you to face her. She smiled sadly at the face you must have been making, and instead brought you into her arms for a hug. You laid your head against her shoulder, as you had done so many times in your childhood. The fleeting thought of what your life would have been like without the Kim's in your life at all was enough to set your tears flowing.

To have the comfort of your mothers' arms around you now. The knowledge that your Appa was giving the man you loved a hard time only because it was family tradition. Focusing on Namjoon's face and his soft smile, the one he saved just for you, allowed the tears to slow down enough that you could her your Eomma's voice above your ear. She was singing quietly, and it was yet another moment from your childhood as you recognized the lullaby that she would sing to Eunji as a baby.

Eomma felt your breathing even out and she waited a few minutes before she spoke.

"Tell me everything, Olivia. Get it all out at once," she commanded, and you nodded and then haltingly began.

You spoke of preparing for the meeting with JISA, and the information that Jungkook had uncovered. Then the continuing unraveling of information. You heard your Eomma's light gasp at the idea that Emily had been the one to sabotage you and closed your eyes briefly at the idea of what was still behind your teeth to share.

She felt you tense, and her arms tightened around you.

"Finish it out Livie," she whispered and in the safety of her arms you spilled the rest.

That upon arriving to JISA, your worst fears had been confirmed, Emily had been stealing from you from the beginning and it had been supported by Dr. Scott. You felt your Eomma draw in breath like she would chide you for not giving Dr. Scott the honorific due to her, so you hurriedly started the downhill slide into things you didn't want to even think about, let alone share.
