When Hoseok got back to campus, there had been a lot of secret texts and discrete phone calls before you caught onto the idea that your brothers were up to something, but it was Yoongi's birthday before you actually figured it out.
A few too many, "When we go, I mean, come to see you," conversations mixed with Hoseok always hiding his phone made you intensely frustrated. The boys had never hidden anything from you before and you were worried over what it might be.
But when the six of them called you and Hoseok for a video call, you knew they were ready to tell you what on earth was going on.
Of course, Namjoon took the lead.
"So Livie, we've all been doing some thinking about this summer and next year," he said and you nodded a little.
You had recently gotten a new directive from your parents' attorney about needing to stay in America over the summer and do an internship that your parents approved of. The attorney from your parents was willing to fight it for you, which shocked you a little, but you hadn't been able to help him figure out how yet.
You waited for them to drop some kind of news about all their own plans but when they pushed Kookie to the front to talk, you began to pay attention again.
He was bouncing in place with excitement.
"Noona, we have an idea. But we really need your help to make it work," he said, and you sat back a little.
"Of course, baby bunny. Anything you need and everything I have is yours for the asking, what do you need help with," you said in a rush and made Hoseok next to you smile.
"As your future attorney, I advise against statements like that," he teased, and it took a moment for his words to register.
"My future attorney? Hoseok, you're doing law school?!?" You shrieked and wrapped him in a hug while you heard the shouts and groans from the other end of the call.
"As her other future attorney, I object to anymore of that kind of behavior," and now you let go of Hoseok and turned back to the call, eyebrows nearly at your hairline to hear Yoongi's voice.
"Yoongiah," you gasped out and could do nothing more than blink in shock.
"Yea, us Stanford educated attorney's need work and with your ideas Livie, you're going to need us both," he said with a cocky grin and this time it took you no time at all to realize what he was saying.
"WHAT!?!?!?!?"
Your screech echoed through the dorm room and Hoseok covered his ears in complaint, but on the call, the others just giggled.
"Hoseok is going to focus on business law, but I'm going to specialize in entertainment law Livie," said Yoongi with that smirk still on his face and you paused in your shriek of happiness. When Yoongi got cocky like that, there was something else he wanted to say. And you desperately wanted to hear it.
"Why do you need to specialize in entertainment law Yoongiah," you asked the obvious question and made him grin, but when he turned to Seokjin, you knew that one of your fondest wishes was about to come true.
"Because when I study entertainment management at Berkely next year, I'm going to need advice on how to better support my talents," said Jin and now your happiness knew no bounds.
"Berkeley. Berkeley College of Music? The one up the road?" Your frantic questions made Jin laugh and when he nodded his agreement, your happiness overflowed into tears. Hoseok had been prepared by the others over Christmas and was there at the ready with tissues and a hug.
"We wouldn't want Jin-Hyung to be lonely there Livie," came a quiet voice and you turned from Jin to see Jimin and Taehyung waving behind him. "We think Berkeley has a great dance and vocal programs for us too," he said quietly, and Tae just took his hand and wrapped it around Jimin's making you smile again for more than one reason.
