That night, Yu heard the sound of rain pouring outside still. He decided, on a whim, to check out the tv again. They were very sure at this point that their theories about the tv world being the way the killer did in Ms. Yamano and Saki were correct; so it was only right to ensure that nobody else showed up there. This was also their only way of getting clues about the case too. They did promise Teddie they'd try to stop the killer.

At midnight, right on cue, the tv switched on. Yu gasped at the faint image on the screen. It was blurry and appeared to be a silhouette. But it looked vaguely familiar. Like... a girl wearing a kimono. But it was so out of focus he couldn't possibly tell who it was. Out of curiosity, he reached out and touched the screen. His hand fell through like before, but when it did, the image disappeared. How odd...

When Yu went to bed last night, he had another dream about the Velvet Room. Igor and Margaret explained to him that his Persona awakening was the "contract" they spoke of. Meaning Yu was correct, every one of Igor's predictions came true exactly as he said. That was a little creepy, but he still didn't sense anything unsettling about the two of them. He thought they were sincere, albeit strange. They told him a Persona is the side of you that shows when you face the world around you. A façade of determination you wear to face various difficulties in life. They didn't seem to care if that made sense to him, but at least he knew it was supposed to happen.

As it turned out, Yosuke also thought to try the Midnight Channel last night too. And saw the same image Yu did. They agreed to talk to Teddie after school. If someone else was thrown in there, he'd know immediately. And it would confirm there was a culprit. Yosuke thought their newfound power was a gift just for them to solve the case. Based on Igor's words, Yu couldn't help agreeing.

It was still early in the morning, before class started, when Yu and Yosuke were chatting at their desks. All of a sudden, they saw Chie burst into the classroom looking panicked as hell. She approached the two of them while looking around nervously.

"Chie? Um, about yesterday..." Yosuke said, "We're sorry we worried you-"

"Nevermind that." Chie snapped. "Is Yukiko still not here?"

"Yukiko-san? Uh, no, at least I haven't seen her today," Yosuke said.

"Sorry, but I haven't seen her either," Yu added.

This didn't help her calm down. "Oh man... What should I do? Hey, is that stuff you were talking about for real? All that about how people showing up on the Midnight Channel is related to that other world?"

"We were just talking about that." Yosuke answered. "We're thinking of checking it out later-"

"The person on tv yesterday..." Chie interrupted, worriedly. "I think it was Yukiko. Th-That kimono looked like the one she wears at the inn, and she wore it during that interview too. I got worried so I emailed her last night, but she hasn't responded... I called her earlier in the evening though and she said she'd be at school today..."

"Ok- we get the picture. And you still haven't heard from her?" Yosuke asked.

Chie shook her head. In response, Yu and Yosuke calmly explained the simple parts they learned in the tv world yesterday. Including how people have been getting thrown in. It didn't make her mood any better.

"Are you saying... Yukiko was thrown in there?!"

"Now, wait-! We don't know that for sure," Yosuke replied, "We should check to see if she's safe first."
