Begin!
~Normal POV
4/14 - Thursday
The next day Yu was... jittery, to say the least. After that thing with the Midnight Channel last night he'd barely gotten any sleep. It was the weirdest thing that ever happened to him. Part of him even hoped that Chie and Yosuke forgot about the promise and wouldn't ask. But lady luck wasn't being kind to him today. He did basically sit between them, so the moment class was dismissed they immediately pounced on talking about it.
"Did you guys see... it... last night," Chie asked, eagerly.
"Uh, well..." Yosuke said, unsurely. "What about you?"
"I did! I saw a girl on the tv!" Chie looked very pleased with herself for being right about the urban legend.
"You saw something," Yu said, carefully. Maybe they experienced the same thing he did after all. It'd certainly be easier to stomach if he wasn't alone in the matter.
"Mhmm! Though... I don't know why," Chie said, scratching her head confusedly. "I couldn't tell who it was, but it was a girl for sure. Her hair was brown, about shoulder length, and she was wearing our school uniform."
Yu recalled what happened last night. Now that he thought about it, that girl was wearing a Yasogami uniform. It was hard to tell at first, but he did recognize it.
"Hey... I think that's the same person I saw," Yosuke replied, "I couldn't make out that much detail though. The image I saw was much blurrier."
"We saw the same girl? Does that mean we have the same soulmate? That wouldn't make any sense," Chie said.
"How should I know? What about you? Did you see it," Yosuke asked, looking at Yu expectantly.
Yu hesitated. It didn't sound like they entirely had the same experience last night. He sucked up his pride, and explained every detail of what happened to him.
"It sounds like we all saw the same person..." Yosuke said. "But weird voices aside..." He paused trying to hold back his laughter. "What was that about you getting sucked into your tv? Were you that tired last night? You must have just fallen asleep in front of your tv!"
"I'm telling you- it happened!" Yu protested.
Chie's reaction was very similar. "That's one interesting dream though." She said, giggling. "I like the part where you got stuck cause your tv was too small. That's pretty realistic. If it had been bigger- Oh! That reminds me. My parents have been talking about buying a bigger tv."
"Oh yeah? Wanna check out the ones at Junes?" Yosuke asked. "We're beefing up our electronics department this month."
"Definitely! My parents don't know a thing about electronics, and I've just gotta see my kung fu movies on the big screen!"
"We've got some pretty big ones in stock. I bet they'd be big enough for you to fit into!" Yosuke teased, snickering again.
Yu sighed a little. Of course they didn't believe him. Why should they? But something Yosuke said made him curious. He agreed to go to Junes with them to test out his theory. What if he tried it with a bigger tv?

The Junes electronics department was barren of customers for the moment, which suited them just fine. No crowd, no hassle. The place was full of all kinds of things- tvs, massage chairs, computers, phones, and all manner of accessories. They found the flat screen tvs in the back lining the shelves in varying sizes. The one in the middle was the biggest, it seemed. It sat on a low shelf. Yu stared at the thing wondering if this was gonna work; meanwhile he heard Chie whine about how it was sadly too expensive for her.
