Chapter Nineteen

Third Person

Anastasia woke up with a pounding headache and groaned, just the way to start the day.

Tala reminded her about the day ahead of her which made her groan even more.

"That's today? I thought it wasn't until next week." She mentally slapped herself for not remembering.

Today was the day Gabriel organised for Anastasia and Adrien to go to Robert Ledgers company for a modelling shoot. He was another famous fashion designer in Paris and owned a whole building to his name. Gabriel said it would be a good look for his brand.

"You reckon I'll be able to get away with, I don't know, not going?" The blonde asked her kwami with a large grin.

"Definitely not" Tala replied with a laugh.

Anastasia got up and ran her fingers through her hair to make herself look somewhat presentable before heading downstairs just to be met with Gabriel and Adrien standing there.

"Good morning Anastasia" Gabriel spoke up when he saw her.

"Morning" she replied, not in the mood to speak to him.

"You and Adrien will be leaving shortly after lunch so be ready by then please" He informed her while leaving and walking back into his office.

Anastasia gave Adrien an awkward smile before heading to the kitchen to grab an apple and heading back up to her room. She hadn't spoken to him since snapping at him the previous day, she felt bad but she wasn't about to tell him what happened.

"Annie" Adrien called out to her causing her to turn around.

"Are you o- er, looking forward to that thing?" He quickly stopped himself from asking her if she was okay.

"Not really, I'm tired and I feel like shit" Anastasia laughed.

"Well it's something different, it could be fun" Adrien said.

"Yeah, might be" She replied.

The conversation quickly got awkward so she turned around and walked upstairs.

Adrien sighed while turning the other way to get breakfast.

Just before heading out Annie got dressed and lightly did her makeup, knowing it was going to get wiped off later for the shoot.

After about a fifteen minute car ride, they arrived at a very large building.

The pair of them entered and were immediately greeted by a young women, "hi! you must be Adrien and Anastasia, I'm Ivy, I'll be helping you today, well mostly Anastasia. Adrien if you could follow Ben over there he can point you where to go" She said.

Ivy had gorgeous, long ginger hair and green eyes. She was very pretty and seemed really sweet too. Although that last time Anastasia made that assumption about someone it didn't really end well so.

Adrien had gone the way Ivy had directed him and it was just the two girls left.

"Follow me" She said walking through many different corridors finally leading to what Anastasia assumed was a changing room.

"Okay so the shoot is going to be you by yourself and there'll be two more after that with you and Adrien together" Ivy began.

"Jenny over here will get you your first outfit and do your makeup" She finished.

"Okay, sounds good, thanks" Anastasia replied.

"Please sit down" The women, Jenny, instructed, indicating the chair that sat in front of a large mirror.

Jenny did indeed, wipe off Anastasia's  previous makeup, and applied all the basics, foundation, concealer etc. She then applied some light blue eyeshadow on her eyelids and white wing eyeliner. After she was finished a different women came in and styled her hair into a semi-high ponytail, pulling out her bangs and little wisps of hair.

As for the outfit, she dressed into a light blue, short dress with flowy long sleeves and on top of that a white short cardigan which sat just above her waist. For the shoes they were white mary jane like shoes but with a short heel, making her slightly taller than she was.

Anastasia stepped out of the dressing room and was approached by Jenny.

"Here put these on and follow me" She told her while handing her a white pearl bracelet and some rings, along with a very pale blue little hand bag.

Anastasia put them on and made her way to where her pictures were going to get taken.

"Wow Anastasia you look so pretty!" Ivy exclaimed.

"Thank you Ivy, and please call me Annie" She told her.

Ivy led her to where the photographer was setting up.

He told her what to do and all the poses, soon it was finished and Anastasia started to go look around for Adrien.

On her way there, she was busy looking down at her phone when she walked into a girl and the both of them came to a fall.

"Oh my god I'm so sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going" Anastasia exclaimed.

"No no, it's fine, I wasn't looking either" the girl got up and held a hand out.

She was very pretty, she had waist-long brown hair, big blue eyes, tanned skin. Just by looking at her you could tell she was a model. She thought she recognised her but Anastasia couldn't tell.

After Anastasia took it and got up the girl started to speak, "what's your name? I don't think I've seen you around here before"

"It's Anastasia, yeah this is the first time I've ever been here, I'm here to model with my friend" She replied.

"Ohhh you're Anastasia Emerys, I thought I recognised you" She said.

"What's your name?" Anastasia asked the girl in front of her.

"I'm Charlie, I model for Robert Ledgers, he's a pain but let me tell you the money is worth it" Charlie laughed.

"I knew I recognised you somewhere, Charlie Lee right?" Anastasia asked the girl. Charlie Lee was quite the famous model around Paris, Annie had heard of her quite a few times.

"Yeah that's me, surprised you've heard of me, you know, being a famous model and all" Charlie replied.

"You say that as if you aren't one yourself" Anastasia laughed.

"I suppose" Charlie smiled. "Do you need any help getting anywhere, you looked like you were in a rush before you bumped into me" She offered.

"Yeah actually do you know where room, uh, 4b is? I'm meeting my friend there" Anastasia replied.

"Of course, follow me" The brunette smiled.
