Chapter Fifty-Five

Third Person

The next day Anastasia woke up in a good mood, she was finally going to see Adrien again, after all this time.

Her first show wasn't till tomorrow so she had all day to revisit her old friends.

After she got ready she told Charlie where she was going and that she would be back as soon as she could.

Anastasia took the opportunity to walk instead of getting driven there, she wanted to remind herself of Paris's streets.

She first headed for Marinette's bakery, she was glad to know they were still in business. She walked in and said hi to Marinette's parents.

"It's good to see you again Anastasia! How's the singing career treating you?" Sabine asked with a smile.

"It's going well thank you, it's why I'm in Paris actually. Any idea where I can find Marinette?" Anastasia asked.

"She's up in her room packing her things with Alya, she's moving out soon, she's growing up so fast" Tom chimed in.

"Okay, thank you, it was good seeing you!" She shouted as she made her way to Marinette's room.

Anastasia opened the trapdoor to her room and came in. Marinette looked at her and screamed and fell over in the process.

"ANNIE?!"

"What the hell are you doing down here?" Alya spoke as she came down from Marinette's bed.

As soon as Alya layed eyes on Anastasia, she practically jumped onto her, Marinette joining in.

"YOU'RE HERE???" Alya screeched.

Anastasia hugged them back, "God, I've missed you both so much guys, it's actually so good to see you again" She started to tear up.

"We thought we'd never see you again girl, we missed you loads" Alya said wiping her eye.

"So what have you guys been up to over these past four years?" Anastasia asked.

"I'm a fashion designer now, like a real life one! Can you believe it?" Marinette smiled.

"Of course I can, I always knew you could do it" Anastasia smiled.

"I'm working as a nurse in the hospital, it's pretty cool actually" Alya added.

"I'm so happy for you guys"

"How's singing?" They asked her.

"It's actually really good, I love it" Anastasia responded.

"You're literally amazing at it Annie, we literally listen to your songs all the time" Marinette said.

"Really? Must be why I'm getting so much plays on them" Anastasia joked.

"You know it" Alya winked.

"Well, how are the boys?" Anastasia asked the two girls, she wanted to know everything that has happened while she was gone.

"Me and Luka are still dating, we're moving in together" Mari smiled.

While Alya stuck out the back of her hand to show a ring on her finger.

"No fucking way" Anastasia grabbed her hand to inspect the ring.

"Wedding is in June, you're invited of course, if you plan to stick around" Alya smiled.

"Now I definitely will, congratulations!" Anastasia smiled. She was happy that everything worked out for her friends.

"We can go for a coffee or something later if you two are free, I need to see Adrien, you two were the first people I decided to visit" Anastasia smiled.

Marinette and Alya gave each other a look before Alya spoke.

"Uhm about Adrien-"

"Hold on I need to take this" Anastasia said while answering her phone.

"Sorry I gotta go, have to be back sooner than expected, we'll definitely grab that coffee soon though" Anastasia smiled.

"Yeah okay, bye Annie!" Marinette shouted after the girl.

"Wait one last question, are the heroes still around?" Anastasia asked.

"Yeah they are, Hawkmoth is still very much around, although he calls himself Shadowmoth now" Alya said.

"Right..good to know, bye you guys"

"We should've told her Mari" Alya turned to the bluenette.

"Yeah but she was in a rush, I'm sure his dad will tell her when she goes there.."

"She's going to be heartbroken"
