Chapter Twenty

Adrien

I was almost finished with my shoot when I noticed two people enter the room and sit down on two chairs in the other end of the room.

While the photographer was grabbing and changing the memory card in the camera I turned to look at them, It was Annie talking to a brunette girl.

Annie then turned to look at me and I smiled and waved at her.

She just smiled back at me, keeping the eye contact before turning away and talking to the girl.

We've barely spoken since the whole thing that happened yesterday, I was just waiting for her to come around.

I finally finished with the photoshoot and headed over to Annie.

"Hey" I said getting the two girls's attentions.

"Oh hi, finally let you go huh?" Anastasia laughed slightly.

"Yeah, it took a while sorry, who might this be" I asked her talking about the girl she was stood next to.

"I'm Charlie, it's nice to meet you" Charlie stated.

"Adrien, it's nice to meet you too" I replied.

Charlie's phone buzzed and she looked down at it, "well, I gotta go, but I'll see guys soon? You've got my number Annie so text me when you leave" She finished.

"I definitely will, see you" Annie said as Charlie left.

"You ready to go?" She asked me.

We made our way to a different room, a bigger one, where we were going to have the photoshoots done together.

There were four different changing rooms in the corner of the room and the girl from earlier, Ivy, led Annie away into one of them and someone else took me into the room opposite.

My hair was styled quite messily and I was given an outfit to change into.

I came out wearing white trousers with a long sleeved pink shirt, slightly unbuttoned at the top and half of it untucked from the trousers.

I sat down scrolling through my phone waiting for Annie when she finally came out. She had on a tight white miniskirt which was slightly low-rised and a pink crop top, the same shade as my shirt, with some slogan written on it. She was also wearing a white headband. She had light pink eyeshadow on and eyeliner done along with her normal makeup.

She looked good.

Annie walked over and sat down next to me, waiting for the photographer to get there.

"You look really pretty" I blurted out in the silence around us.

She looked up at me and smiled, her real smile, "thank you Adrien, we're matching as well, how cute is that" Annie giggled.

I couldn't help but to smile hard at her, her smile was so contagious.

"It is, can't say I'm a fan of the colour though" I laughed.

"Well I think it suits you pretty well" Annie replied.

The photographer then showed up, we did a few poses then I decided to try something new.

I put one arm around Annie's waist, pulling her closer to me and the hand in my pocket leaving my thumb outside of it.

She was a little startled at first at my sudden touch but then complied. She put her arm around me with a hand on my shoulder and her other one she placed on top of my hand that was resting on her waist.

The photographer started snapping photos while I smiled, feeling my cheeks slightly burn up.

While in the same position and photos still being taken of us, she turned to look at me and I did the same. We held eye contact for a few moments before the man in front of us saying we were done and that the photos came out great. Annie quickly let go of me and stepped away.

I immediately started to regret doing that, maybe I made her feel uncomfortable.

We had another shoot after that but we had a twenty minute break, after I got changed into my normal clothes and stoped out of the room, Anastasia was nowhere to be seen.

I walked out of the room, looking around for her when I saw a familiar face. Jules. She did mention that she models from time to time but I never expected her to be anywhere like here. Nevertheless I was happy to see someone I know around here.

"Jules! Hey" I shouted over to her.

"Oh Adrien hi! I didn't know you were modelling here?" She said walking over with a boy by her side.

"Yeah I am, I'm pretty sure it's just a one time thing. Just for my dad's business" I told her.

"Oh right, Adrien, this is Leo, he models here too" Jules said pointing to the brunette boy.

"Hey nice to meet you man" Leo said, shaking my hand.

"Yeah you too" I said.

"Are you on your break, we were just about to get something to eat, would you like to come with us?" Jules asked me with a smile.

"I would but I'm actually looking for someone right now, thanks for the offer though" I replied.

"Oh okay, I'll see you later then, bye Adrien" She said with a frown.

"Bye" I said walking away from her.
