Chapter Fifty-Three

Anastasia

I stood there, absolutely lost for words.

Adrien was Chat Noir.

"I wanted to tell you, just in case you wouldn't stay in Paris and you had to give your miraculous back"

"What-how-" I started, how the fuck does he know?

"I saw you de-transform yesterday after the akuma attack"

I should really start checking my surroundings when detransforming in my room, that's now two people who've seen me do it.

Just then, my necklace beeped for the last time and the suit that was on me a few seconds before was now gone.

"Knew this would happen" A small black cat came out of nowhere, I assumed it was Adrien's kwami.

"Not now Plagg" Tala rolled her eyes.

"Let me tell you Anastasia, this boy, never stops talking about you, so much that this doesn't even feel like meeting you for the first time" Plagg groaned.

I giggled at the silly creature.

"Well it's very nice to meet you Plagg, I can't say the same" I said while gently rubbing his head.

"Right let's not steal my Chat Noir spotlight now" Adrien interrupted.

I looked back up at him and just hugged him.

It explains so much if I'm being honest, that time on my balcony with Chat and Adrien missing, Chat constantly saving me, Adrien making stupid cat puns sometimes, honestly how did I not figure it out before.

"Does this change anything? You knowing?" He asked me while I pulled out of the hug.

"Of course not Adrien, if anything I'm glad you told me about it" I smiled.

"Does it change anything for you, knowing about me?" I asked the same question.

"Definitely not, although, I can't believe you made me fall for you twice" Adrien answered.

"What can I say, I tend to have that effect on people" I giggled.

"I'm out of here, Tala let's go" Plagg grumbled.

Tala gave me and Adrien a smile before flying off with her kwami friend.

About a half hour later, Nathalie came up to my room to let me know my parents were here.

Adrien and our bodyguard helped me put my bags in the boot of the car the two arrived in.

I sat in the car after saying goodbye to everyone in the house while my father was still putting some things in the boot, I think it was safe to say even Gabriel Agreste was going to miss me, he literally hugged me.

"I'm so glad your here darling" My mother spoke.

"It's not like I had a choice"

"Are we at least-staying in Paris?" I hesitated.

"It's for the best that we don't, there's too much past in this city, we're going back to England" She sighed.

My eyes went wide.

This entire time I was thinking we would at least stay somewhere in Paris, god, even the same country would've been good.

I turned to look out the window and saw Adrien stood by the stairs of the outside of the house.

I ran out of the car and up to him and gave him one last, long kiss. I didn't even realise but I was crying once again.

"Adrien-"

"I know Annie, and you're going to be just fine, I promise you"

"You knew? Why wouldn't you tell me?"

"I didn't want you to be even more upset than you already were love, you can message and call me at any time" Adrien spoke.

"But that's not the same, not even close!" I was so heartbroken, I didn't even say goodbye to my friends.

"Anastasia, I love you everyday a little more than I did the day before, you're the most brave, beautiful and amazing girl I've ever met, and god am I so lucky to have you in my life, don't let this ruin it okay? We'll find our way back to each other one day, I promise" Adrien was crying now too, the first time since we found out I was leaving.

"Take that advice for yourself too Adrien, don't sit around waiting for me, you have to live your life as well" It was hard to say those words but he had to, I couldn't promise that I would come back because I wasn't sure if I would.

"I'll try" Adrien answered.

He hugged me so tight, "Don't cry, it'll be okay, go live your life Anastasia and I'll be right here waiting for you"
