Chapter Twenty-Nine

Anastasia

I was staring out the window when I suddenly saw Ladybug swing past chasing a villain.

Oh brilliant.

I asked the teacher if I could go to the nurses room knowing that the fight could range within ten minutes to a couple of hours.

As soon as I was out of sight of anyone I transformed and got out of the school.

The fight did last till the end of third period so as soon as I got back it was lunch.

I must admit, it did feel good when I was Louve Blanc. The wind blowing through my hair, being able to do whatever I wish, well, sort of.

I grabbed my bag and walked outside into the courtyard where from behind me I heard someone shouting my name.

"Annie!" It was Alix and she was with Alya, Marinette, Juleka and Zoé.

I made my way over to them, "Hey guys, what's up?"

"We're planning a girls night on Saturday, we were wondering if you wanted to come, it's at Marinette's" Zoé informed me.

"Well sure if that's alright with Mari" I said while turning to look at the bluenette who was avoiding eye contact with me.

Alya nudged her, making her look up at me, "Yeah of course it is" Marinette said with a half smile on her face.

Something tells me it's not. 

I spent lunch with the girls, the entire time I tried to speak to Marinette she would just respond with a short answer or just nod. Of course I wasn't expecting her to be over it by now but she could at least try to make an effort to speak to me. It just hurt watching her laugh and talk with the other girls and then being distant with me.

I was now back home in my room laid on my bed busy in thought till I got a few notifications on my phone.

It was that same person ruby3113 commenting on my post and a few different ones too.

'Deleting my comment because u can't handle the truth? Pathetic.'

'Wow you looked so much skinnier a year ago, you should go back to that, if you can😅'

I couldn't handle it anymore, my anger, my sadness, my tears.

I decided to message whoever this person was, I've had enough.

God, I hate people.

Of course none of that last part of what I said was true but sometimes being horrible to someone is the only way to go.
